This is quite uncommon to find. I found one sitting in a new friends game room and had to buy it. I love the game. It really shines in competition with friends but for an EM, it's very fun and games are usually short. I think it would be higher on the EM list if more people just had a chance to play it. Love this game.

This is one of my fav multi player games. it is super fun to try to "steal" the 10x and 100x shots from your opponents and leave them on 1x. Unbalanced, yes! Fun, super yes! Good times, and both this game and I were born in 1965. A fine year indeed. Oh, and everyone loves the dancing cowboy in the backbox!

One of the best EMs ever made. I am partial to Flip Flop but this is #2 in my book. The backglass is amazing with the little dancing cowboy. Very very rare and hard to find.

A true skill game. Lucky a local collector has one to play.

Uses almost the same ruleset as Happy Clown and the same under playfield roto-wheel. Easier to play than the clown because balls will be some time in the bumpers until they come back. No 50 points in the upper corners, just a passive bumper which limits some strategies. Backglass with dancing cow hand, in Dancing Lady nicely replaced.

Dodge City screams classic pinball to me. The art sets it firmly in its place in time. The art is pretty much the bar I set for other 60s tables. The layout seems pretty by the numbers with the exception of the center roll unders. The projected rewards are my favorite part of this machine as it really seems to set it apart.
A tough game to do well on but you feel like a super hero when you do. I love to see the cowboy dance.

Dodge City is about as classic as Gottleib pinballs get.

The Pros:
Incredible BG artwork WITH and animation inside of it. The play of the game is well done witht he 5 roll unders that arch across the middle of the PF. The saucers are tough shots from eeety beeety fleeepers.

The Cons:
Good luck finding one. You may have to go to a show or LV to get your chance to give this deck some milage.

The Takeaway:
A timeless pinball game from Gottleib that will keep you coming back again and again. Proof that Ed Krynski was on top of his game for decades.

Update:
Scoring the PF score multiplier from the a-e rollunders as well as the saucer with the under the PF lit roto target window makes this game a simple (but NEVER easy) game to play. This ruleset reminds me of Abra-Ca-Dabra for some reason... It must be that "just one more game magic!" Dodge city is a true player! This happens to be Ed Krynski's first game with Gottlieb. What a way to start a winning streak!
