A rare pinball machine theese days..

Written by Goldrush, published May 9th, 2013. 2 comment(s).

Found a Derby Day in Houston in 1992 in pretty good condition and paid about $1800. I did my research and realized that this machine only was made in a small serial, #118 manufactured. Derby Day was "Pinball of the year" 1967 and is a very special machine with six horses race against eachother.

I sold the game at Ebay 2008 and a collector in Wisconsin paid $4300. So, if you get your hands on a 1967 Williams Derby Day, keep it! It won´t be cheaper..

Cool, I remember seeing this machine being worked on at the Pinball Hall of Fame a few years ago, but I don't recall from my last visit if the machine ever made it onto the game floor.

I see them frequently on eBay selling for $1000 or less. The reason I am commenting is that some goofball probably saw your comment and has listed one on eBay for $3500. LOL! It's beat up too! Folks remember, it's only worth what someone will pay you for it.
