The gameplay is better than most newer games but somehow I got bored with this game quickly. Maybe it is the repetative music or the lack of multi-ball or just because I have to look away to avoid eye contact with the clown and drain the ball (good excuse). I advice everybody to play a few games on location but never buy this machine.

Really fun game, and the best of the 3 rollercoaster themed games. Awesome PF art and unique and fun layout. This game is all about the fun factor. I wouldn't want to own it in a smaller collection though, it might get tiring after a bit.

This was the game we always played at our local pizza place so I've got a soft spot for it. It can't compare with anything that was made after it, but is up there with Taxi for me in that era.

Good System 11 game. Could use multi ball, but it plays just fine without. Fairly easy to understand with decent ruleset. Love the Mystery Wheel in the backbox. Comet and Cyclone ramp shots along with the jackpot shot are fun. VERY busy playfield in terms of artwork. Overall a fun single ball game with ramps, a ferris wheel, a subway and the Mystery wheel. Lighting looks very nice when LED'd. Owned it for about a year and that was about long enough. Would own again if space permitted. Game would work better in a bigger collection. Great theme and callouts, just beware of the outlanes, that elephant can be a bit annoying...."Hey You With the Face!"

Even with the creepy clown and python's trademark "needs more grey" on the playfield, this a drop dead gorgeous machine, kinda like big guns or bad cats i imagine some people could keep this around just because it's so good looking.

Ruleset compliments the layout exquisitely but there is so much ball on post action in this game, it falls a bit flat for me, probably not an issue for a diehard but for a scrub like myself that makes it much too hard. Why doesn't it have multiball, that bonus multiplier looks and feels like it ought to be a ball lock.

While the music fits the theme like a glove, it's just too minimal for it's own good, really could stand to be a lot livelier cus as is it's incredibly boring.

This may appear to be a kiddie game but i think it's more of a zen thing for seasoned veterans.

This is really a fun, single ball game. The ramps are challenging, the Ferris Wheel is a neat touch and fast play. I don't know why, but I love the carnival barker who says "Hey you, with the face" I am not sure what that means, but it is funny. I would own this game above of any System 11 (expect maybe Earth Shaker or Space Station)

Cyclone has tons of squiggly clear plastic ramps, which really helps visibility during play. The spinner in the back box is fun, as is shooting the center hole. The orbits are just okay, but the overall feel (kinematics) of the game are pretty decent. The Skill Shot is a real Skill Shot - even if it looks a little cheap - hitting the 100k is fun.

I like enough that I'd let it take up space in a large pinball room. Weird clowns aren't really my thing (not creepy, just don't do much for me), but the game is fun enough to merit a few plays on location to judge its playability for your self.

Fun theme, fun shots, cool toys like the ferris wheel and mystery wheel. Great backglass with fireworks effects and the Reagans on the rollercoaster. The carnival barker callouts are classics ("Hey you, with the face!"). Scoring can be a little unbalanced - the plunge skillshot carries a lot of weight and the size of the gate jackpot is a huge swing factor. Overall a great looking, fun game.

Keeps the family coming back! It'd been nice if they could have incorporated multiball into this game but I consider this the best single ball game of it's time. I love the progressive jackpot!

A solid system 11 for its time. The sounds and music fit the theme and the Ferris wheel and ramps and mystery wheel round out a well themed game. The ramp shots are rewarding to hit but the game just feels so shallow. Lacking a multiball to spice things up really hurts the game. It is fun to play (and there are far worse games out there) but the play just a little flat.

Have had the game for over 10 years and I play it as much now as I did then. I have it in my business so our whole staff plays regularly and its always a race to reset the jackpot before it gets to high to protect high scores! Lots of fun, but it has taught my to loathe the sound of an elephant's trumpet.

Absolutely love the music, call outs, and theme with this pin. Main detraction for me was no multi-ball.

I have owned "Cyclone" for many years. What better theme for a pinball machine than an amusement park? The lights on this baby are terrific! Leave this machine on and it will bark at ya! Still a blast after all of these years.

This is a great game to play. I like the ferris wheel as it allows me to slow down the shots and look at what I want to hit next. Mistery wheel is a nice add.

If you don't pay attention to the squirrely scoring, you'll have a lot more fun with this game. It's not very deep, there's not a lot going on, it's just plain fun though... the kind of game I would find myself in the local pizza parlor again and again to play.

It was a neat idea having the mystery wheel in the backglass which can be spun by getting into the "spook house". The gimmick wore off quickly though. I still look for Nancy and Ronald Reagan (and their dog Rex) and the cameo's by Mr. T. and the Coneheads. Great timepieces of the era of EM Pinball!

It plays just great! I think it's even more funnier than later games from the 1990's as you can play a whole game in 5 minutes or less! :)

The ferris wheel is a very nice toy but the humming of the motor underneath is a little bit annoying. The backglass with the mystery wheel looks great and upvalues the game.

I like it - I keep it!

I like it but it lacks multiball so shooting becomes an aiming game in the end.

Shots are hard but when done right make you smile each run.

A classic it is but the greyish playfield is a bit boring in my opinion.

I find the scoring on this game a bit unbalanced, especially if you get the skill shot waxed and you've waited a bit for less experienced players to push the jackpot to four million.
The flippers on my game are very strong and hitting the spook house door can cause the ball to get airborne to fly back at you and over the flippers.
The Ferris wheel definitely breaks down the flow.

Perfect pinball, ball flow is excellent after launching the ball it can go anywhere from the pop bumpers, so not as predictable as some machines also its all about scoring so the player chooses the shots not the machine. The cyclone ramp is pretty difficult to hit 3 times for the jackpot before it times out, overall a really fun machine that never gets old.

This is a pretty tough machine, I almost feel like your score is based on luck sometimes.

I have come pretty close to getting on the leader board (nobody else has) I just have real trouble finding anything to shoot for points. It seems almost like you should try to get lucky on the spinner toy over and over again to get the high score.

Besides that I HATE the elephant noise, anyone who has played this might agree.

Oh and to the people saying this is a fast pinball, how do you figure when the ferris wheel pauses gameplay along with both ramp shots, and the middle/left pockets that activate the backboard spinner... I find myself waiting very often with this pin, I think it desperately needs a multiball feature.

Good game Ferris wheels are a neat toy but slow the game down.Would be a cool game to get in a collection.
