Good looking game but it seems like there isn't enough to do. Seems like you would get bored fast. Ferris wheel and spinning mystery wheel is cool but not a game I would own.

This is the game that attracted me to pinball. Very fun and a true piece of nostalgic art with the Regans in the back glass. No other single ball game is this much fun to play. Very nice to have game prompt you to make different shots.

I was surprised I actually enjoyed this one. Not as deep as other newer games, but what do you expect. Fun ramps and shots. Definitely would sink some money into one on location

I put this one as a middle of the road machine. Easy to get a replay on it, so that helps a lot when you are playing it out somewhere. I seem to be able to put a quarter in this and play for 20 minutes on a regular basis. That being said, there is nothing super flashy about it. Has a ramp, has extra balls, has some mini games in it that are fun once you figure out what you are to do. I still play it when I see it, so it is worth a try!

Cyclone is among my favorites. The amusement park theme and ramps are done well. It is also super easy to understand. Challenging, yet comprehendable.

Tons of shots to make ..and the jackpot carries over from game to game ...only issue is that there no multi ball,.. so it does not have that extra 3rd ball witch would make this game an eight . as a home game you may get board with it ...great trophy if you where a kid in the 80s .. when I hear the calls outs if feel like I'm 5 years old ...and at its current price it's a steal ...bound to go up in value over time ... looks really nice with the leds

Had it in the dorm at my college. The first pin I fell in love with. Time has not been kind. Lack of multi ball holds it back. Wait time on the ferris wheel is sometimes painful. The arcade I go to has one but I rarely play more than 1 game before moving on

Cyclone has a truly great layout. It is an excellent fan layout without being forced to put the pop bumpers in the back right corner like many other fans, but has them front and center in front of the lanes so they keep the ball action lively. I think where Cyclone maybe falls down a bit is that the rules are simple and except for trying to get the jackpot on the Cyclone ramp or the million shot on the Comet ramp there is not really much else to shoot for on this game. That being said, going for these two shots can be very exciting. The million shot gets even more exciting if you can complete all the thru-lanes for double scoring and then make the 5 consecutive Comet ramp shots in the seconds remaining to get 2 Mio (this is fun !). Interesting on this game is that both the Comet and the Cyclone ramps return the ball to the same (right) inlane. So in order to hit the Comet ramp (from the left flipper) 3 times in close succession to get the jackpot you have to get the ball from the right flipper to the left one. Because the ramp leading to the right flipper is wavy it slows the ball down so much you can’t just hold the right flipper up so the ball rolls over to the left flipper (it rolls between the two and drains) – so while the ball is rolling down the ramp to the right flipper you have to decide which of 3 strategies to use to get the ball to the left flipper – 1.) shoot the ball to the ferris wheel 2.) trap the ball on the right flipper then do a post transfer or 3.) let the ball roll out to the end of the right flipper then tap the button just right to gently knock it over to the left flipper. I, at least, can not get any of these 3 options every time.
The ferris wheel – this is such a cool toy and very satisfying to shoot for – doesn’t yield many points – just maybe if the points have built up (from the pop bumpers) and you have double score active. Cyclone has an excellent skill shot – one of the best – all about pulling the shooter rod just the right distance back – five holes in succession, try to hit the middle one. The sinkhole at Dracula’s house (shot right in the middle of the playfield behind the drop target) is fun to shoot, but the rotating spinner on the backglass (a great innovation) gives such low point values there’s not much point – usually one of the first 3-4 hits to the house yields an extra ball so this is the only reason to go for this target – but if you miss the outlane can be the punishment.
I think Cyclone would have profited by a multiball mode. This along with the two ramp bonuses would have made this a really great game. But the great layout, the great light show and the number of satisfying shots still makes this a pretty darn good game.

One of my favorites. Growing up in the 80's I played this non-stop across the street from my house at Armondo's pizza. This game never got old. Esp for 1988 it was a fun game, great great artwork on the cabinet, backglass and playfield. A true classic and in my top 10.

I know people tend to bash Cyclone for limited shots but you have to put these older games in perspective of the era they were made... In the 80's this thing was amazing and certainly captivated my attention on a daily basis.. which is exactly what the designers intended! Many quarters were dropped into this game when I was a kid.. Update to a tasteful LED upgrade and this machine POPS. I can look at the backglass all night - its a work of art.

This game is seriously shallow, I have no idea why it rates so highly, maybe nostalgia.

a great pinball game..worth playing at least once

I can't even comprehend how ugly the PF is. Grey background with spots (people). That alone is enough to never stand in the presence of it. Oh my god just gouge out my eyes already.

A decent entry into system 11 pins. Fun for beginners, but loses its appeal as you better. A great location pin to play a few games on. Art/theme are solid, and the gimmicks are great for the era.

The ramps and ferris wheel are cool gimmicks, but the rules and gameplay don't hold lasting appeal for me. The theme is cool but the art package is lacking. Sounds and speech were decent.

Pretty well everything I look for in a pinball game this is it. From the theme/artwork to the funny sounds 'you with the face' and the 'ride the ferris wheel ''s challenging and simply1 of the best pins I recall playing. It is 1 game that I hope to have in my collection..very addictive

I had this game several years back. I know it's highly rated, I got bored of this game rather quickly. It was my first pinball machine I owned, but I wasn't thrilled. It's good for a couple of games, but after that, It' gets old fast. I know it's one of the classics.

I love the theme, the call outs. the lack of multiball is a big disadvantage. Anyway its a very fun pinball

Classic Sys11 title.

No multiball but that doesn't detract from the game play as you try to loop the Cyclone and the Comet ramps. Try and get double playfield running before you hammer the Comet ramp. :)

No multiball hurts this one. Got old quickly. Good artwork and retro feel.

The gameplay is better than most newer games but somehow I got bored with this game quickly. Maybe it is the repetative music or the lack of multi-ball or just because I have to look away to avoid eye contact with the clown and drain the ball (good excuse). I advice everybody to play a few games on location but never buy this machine.

Love this Pin. We used to play the heck out of this after it took the place of a Comet. We were bummed Comet was gone but this made up for it. Great Shots. Amusement Park #2. Art by Python. RIP. Barry Rocked this one.

Really fun game, and the best of the 3 rollercoaster themed games. Awesome PF art and unique and fun layout. This game is all about the fun factor. I wouldn't want to own it in a smaller collection though, it might get tiring after a bit.

This was the game we always played at our local pizza place so I've got a soft spot for it. It can't compare with anything that was made after it, but is up there with Taxi for me in that era.

Easy to follow and fun to play. Single ball game is the only shortfall. Overall a fun pinball machine and backglass wheel is a cool gimic for the theme.
