  • LT-5 - A model of the LT-5 engine that can shake left and right, 'polishing' the balls you shoot in.
  • There are five multi-ball modes.
  • 4 ball puzzle wizard mode,
  • 3 ball LT-5 engine lock mode,
  • "Catch Me" 2- ball mode
  • "Race Today" 2 ball mode
  • "Pit Stop" 2 ball mode.

Trivia

  • Corvette was George Gomez's first playfield design. He would continue his successful career in the pinball design field with Williams and Midway. It's also important to know, this was mechanical engineer Tom Kopera's first Williams pinball. Tom would go on to work on other games in collaboration with George Gomez, leading up to be co-designer of Williams' last traditional dot matrix pinball, Cactus Canyon.
  • The girl on the Corvette playfield looking back at you, and doing french speech, is played by George Gomez's then-girlfriend Lori Hanson, an American Airlines flight attendant (who isn't blonde incidentally).
  • Corvette was initially designed to have a 4-speed shifter, but it was later removed due to cost.
  • Corvette initially was designed to have a 3 drop target bank on the left side of the playfield but these were changed to stand up targets due to cost.
  • Sample games had the Delco name on the left and right sides of the front bumper of the big red Vette on the translite. Apparently there was a licensing issue and WMS dropped the logo from the main run.

Backbox ornament(s)

Collect all nine cars, complete the puzzle and the future C6 Vette will show in the helmet visor.

Video mode

There are three - Rapidly press flippers to speed up pit crew during a challenge. Rapidly press flippers to increase "Rev bonus" prior to engine multi-ball. Use left flipper for gas and right flipper to shift gears during "Race Today" mode.
