This is the game that made me want to know how it all worked

I was playing on location and the ball got stuck, the owner of the shop had the key, and after dislodging the ball, encouraged me to 'press all the buttons'

You have to play this game a bit to discover it's beauty. There are a lot of shots there. Keeps you coming back! Classic Krinsky /Morrison Gottlieb EM!

This game seems to get a bad reputation around here and I am still trying to figure out why. While certainly being an extremely difficult game, the rewarding feeling of succeeding on this game in like none other. Out of my collection, this machine probably sees more play than any other due to the sheer difficult nature of the machine and its relentlessness to pre maturely end your game.

I could understand that if this machine wasn't waxed and set steep, that it could be a slow and boring game. But if it is set up properly, the ball can come back extremely quickly and the rollovers in the middle of the playfield can change the direction of the ball causing you to be on edge and ready to react to directional changes in a split second. The lack of sling shots also take a ton of concentration as you don't get that safety bounce back up the playfield and can drain with the right angle regularly. This means pre planning a nudge even before it's off the slingshot is key to keeping the ball in play. Next time you see this machine, give it a try and see if there's maybe a little more to the game play than what there appears to be!

I love Gottlieb Ems, so i am prejudice. I love the artwork and the chimes. I can not figure out way Bronco dropped so much in ratings. Bronco is a great game for the time. I think it is a really fun game with many shots and keeps me interested. Gottlieb sold over 9000+!!!!! HaHa ----9000 buyers ( and payed their money!!!!!) thought the game stunk??????

So this was my first pinball machine that I have owned. While I will say that the game does get repetitive, it is a blast to play with family and friends. We have our own personal top 10 leaderboard for this game and it always draws people back for a shot at getting their name up there. I have owned it for two years and my friends all swear that I shouldn't ever get rid of it. Sure it doesn't play as fast as some of the newer machines and doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but when it comes to a simplistic straightforward EM, this is perfect. The horse drop targets are fun to hit but often result in SDTM drains. Moreso, the left and right outlanes are horrendous! I would swear that they are magnetized! The four kick outs on the left and right side are a lot of fun and a blast to shoot for! Is this the most impressive pin in terms of artwork and design? Absolutely not, but again, this is a great machine to enjoy with family and friends, especially young ones. If I do ever sell this one, it would be for a Bally Strikes and Spares EM, otherwise, this will be in my home for years to come.

A very unusual layout for sure, it is enjoyable enough with the usual 70's quality Gottlieb artwork. The four kickouts on the table are neat and add to the feel of being "bucked" as they shot from bottom into the top one and then kicking out again.

This machine gets an un-deserved bad rap from some, in my opinion. If, like me, you love the look and sounds of the Gottlieb EMs from the 1960s and 70s, this machine is a way-cool American-West themed example of that era. With a total of 26 scoring mechanisms on the playfield -- highlighted by three drop-targets in the middle and two kick-out holes near the top -- the game gives you some cool 2X and 4X bonus opportunities and the chance to win extra balls. It's a four-player game and can be very challenging and fun to play. I recommend elevating the back legs slightly for more slope on the playfield.

The theme is cool, but I have very little love for that game. I hate the three posts behind the drop targets. Outlanes are greedy. It seems much better EM games were produced in the 70's.
Rules are simple to understand, and high bonus and multiplier is a must.

Bronco (Mustang is the 2 player version of this deck.) is a good simple pinball game that make sure that you are playing as you should.

The Good:
Tricky saucer shots from the flippers to the top of the PF require sniper skills. I like the drop targets, but the "A" rollover at the top of the PF takes true skill. Quad your bonus if you can!

The Bad:
Can be a bit too simple at times. The kickers on the left and the right of the upper PF can make the saucers a gimme.

The Takeaway:
Steepen this table, wax it up and open the outlanes as much as you can and you will always have a Krynski challenge on your hands.
