I must admit, when I got into this hobby I over looked this game. This game has a simple layout and rules and lacks a wizard mode. But.....it has three stackable multiballs and the game will beat your ass if you blink an eye. Hitting the loop is extremely satisfying, starts bats mode, locks balls for castle Multiball, collects mist Multiball, etc. Mist Multiball is one of the coolest multiballs ever made. A ball floats across the playfield to start the Multiball. You must hit the ball off the magnet or the Multiball will not start. Coffin MB starts from the right ramp and has a flap similar to Whirlwind were a scoop hole is present to lock balls and then get released from the coffin. Stacking all three gives you 3x the score and stack 2 and get 2x. Video mode via the right loop is very cool were you shoot at wolves trying to attack you. The game has lightning flippers which are slightly shorter and make the game more of a challenge. The game artwork and lighting are well done. This game is a keeper for me. At the price they go for, I would recommend one.

Fun game. Ball times are very short most of the time, outlanes are killer. Mist multiball is a very cool feature. Theme is dark and "very serious" no funny callouts. Game is all buisness and i love it for that.

Im actually purchased this machine for a friend who couldn't follow through. Sure glad I did! I am not the biggest fan of the title or the theme. The game play and the mist multi-ball more than make up for any artwork. It is addicting and I find myself playing it over and over again.

BSD is my favorite pin to play so wanted to make it my first review. I think there are a lot of things that this game lacks but it is still the most addictive pin I may have ever played.

Love BSD - Not many cooler ball tricks than the mist. Dracula in his transparent coffin doesnt really match up well with the overall theme and it would be cooler if a bit more were happening there.

the sounds and speech are so well suited to the game theme and game play - really neat work there. The female voice when you gain the multpier is a little repitive and annoying - especially to my wife. She might be jealous?

This is a game that makes you work on your shots. If you can't nail the ramp and loop shots - you will not enjoy this game to its fullest. And you will have tiny scores.

Soeaking of scores - it is unbalanced. If you don't stack a multiball - and keep it going for a while - you will not get a decent score. As long as you understand that going into the game, then i guess it is not 'unbalanced' it is just part of the game.

This one is part of the permanent collection for now, but I could see someting else edging it out one day, maybe....

Bram Stoker's Dracula has to be the meanest game of all time. It is all about execution (no pun intended) with your game plan. The entire theme of the game is well put together with a red DMD dripping blood as the game progresses.

The Pros: Great Shots. If you can get this game running to 30 million per jackpot during multiball, the game screams at you, literally. If you want to sharpen your skills, Drac will help you with this. I can't think of a more punishing table than this one for bad shots.

The Cons: The game better have strong flippers. The mist magnet mech can be a pain to deal with. You can cheat your way into mist multiball by shaking the table. Rats and Bats can lead to unbalanced scoring in bonus. Don't shake the game too much in the lanes. If you get a tilt warning and you ball out... you lose your bonus.

The Takeaway:
You better have skills and your act together when you step up to this table. Otherwise it will eat you alive, again... literally. Barry's outlanes regulate every shot and risk that you take. So you better be on point (I'm sorry, I can't help myself) or watch yourself drop onto one when the outlane animation takes place. Rumor has it that this is the one game that Neil Schatz used to own and practice with. When you only have room for one game and you want to be one of the best in the world... I don't know how else to say it, BSD was his choice and that is good enough for me. This game is on my "must-have" list.

Update:
Quite possibly, the most challenging skills game ever made by B/W. People slept on this title for years. You used to be able to find them easily for 1k USD. Now the starting cost is probably double that. For a game that feels like a system 11 for complexity, the balance of the risk/reward for this deck is staggering. Barry Oursler's finest DMD by far. Those Ourslanes (tm) will make you regret every mistake you ever make on this table. Addicting and incredibly satisfying when played well.

I've owned this machine for 12 years now and play it almost every single day. It has sat alongside all the A list titles in my collection and hasn't left, where the others have. It has the best "One more game" replay value of any machine I have ever played.

Bram Stoker's Dracula was a lot of fun. It's very difficult, but a lot of the shots were very satisfying and fun. Give it a play or two when you have the chance!

Bram Stoker's Dracula is one of those machines that doesn't get enough respect in my opinion.

One of the few pins that really sets the horror theme very well. Very eerie sounds and light effects. The red DMD works so well on this game with new LED lighting.

Set up properly the game can be brutal and unforgiving. Perhaps that is why many either love it or hate it. It is definitely challenging.

This is one of those staple pins in my collection.

This is a fun game because it is challenging. It is a true players game and it will force you to really hit your shots or pay the price. On top of that, stacking multi-balls is very satisfying.

The one gripe I would have about this game is that you end up shooting the left ramp quite a bit, so this could get boring.

I've played about 30 or so games on this machine so far and I'm sure there will be many more. I play my machines regularly and I find myself a fair player.
At first glance the game looks simple but there is much more going on than meets the eye. The game plays very smooth and I like the pop bumpers in the center of the game with no obstruction of view to the lanes above. I like games with short ball times. This game plays tough and calls me back again and again. I always have the feeling I should be doing better.
The darker theme goes great in my collection of pins. I like the spooky and creepy feel of the game.
The mist multi ball is really a fantastic feature as the ball gets dragged across the playfield by a magnet and you have to hit the ball off the magnet to get your multiball. Very creative.
I haven't put led's in it yet but I have a feeling this pin will look fantastic with them.

It may not be the best game for a family with young children.

Overall a great pin, a top 25 that can usually be had for a fair price.

Update: I've owned this for over a year and have sold many games but Dracula stays...Why because if you play a lot of pinball you tend to play the harder games. This is one of the hardest games I've owned and I've owned over 30 games. When I say hard I mean short ball times. The game play is simple so it's easy to understand. Keeps you coming back to play unlike some games with long ball times that I get uninterested after just a few plays. Pinball for the pinball player.

Very cool game. I bought mine as a fixer upper and this thing is a blast to play even dirty. Good ramp placement and fast ball play make this one a real keeper. Very good bang for the buck!

Picked up my dracula not too long ago and after I finally worked out all the bugs, I can say wow is this game hard!! Its going to take some time to master but shooting loop after loop to become the loop leader is very fullfilling. Not to mention mist multi ball and being able to get all 3 multi balls going at once!!

Bought one as a project machine. It lives up to the reviews, strong one more game factor, excellent music, very hard. BRUTAL.
First pin i've sold and bought again. It's intense and rewarding when you make the stars align on this game.

"Great Fun!!". After paying a couple more machine of the era, I think I under estimated this machine. I like it more now than when I originally rated this machine. Thumbs up for BSD.

Creepy, Cool sounds from the movie. Pin is the toughest I have in my collection. Constantly kicks my ass with the those lightning flippers. When you get the left ramp shot going it's very satisfying. MIST mulitball is one of the best features Williams ever came up with. Hearing 30 millllllllion is very gratifying this is a machine that I sold and re-bought as I regretted the decision almost immediately. Will never leave my collection again...

Really cool looking game, very fun multiballs. Love the mist multiball, a little something different that is fun to see. This game HAS to be LED to make it shine and think it looks 10x better with additional/alternative lighting

This game is sick.
When you get those stacked Multiballs going, you'll get a good sweat on and the hear rate pumping.
The music really sets the mood.
Children beware.. they will probably scream bloody murder when you hit those Castle Jackpots. :)

I have owned this pin for a while and it is great fun. It is not easy, stacking multiballs is challenging but very rewarding when the machine is cranking out 20 million dollar hits! The mist multiball is a unique feature and the green mist adds to the effect. Good license with actor's voices from the movie. The playfield art is just okay and the towns, castle are a bit cheap. But overall, it's a fun game that has a lot of attraction for people who wander in the gameroom. Might trade mine one day.....

Waited until over 100 games played. This is a simple ruleset but super fast, great sounds and very addictive. Trying to get multiballs, let alone stack them, keeps me coming back. This is what pinball is about for me, that 'one more game' feeling. Brutal at times but that occasional great game feels so good! Prefer it to many of the A listers.

Dracula is a good difficult game. I don't know how long it would last in a 3 or 4 game collection. I had one...........I do miss it.
