Love this game. It plays smooth, shots are great and it looks and sounds stunning! Code seems to be well evolved and allows for different gameplay approaches. The playfield art ist very nice, but the colors could have a bit more pop. Also I wish the game had more songs from the movie. The bowling alley is very well made and a lot of fun to play. I also think the upper playfield is super fun. Well done!

Fantastic, fun, loaded pin. Smooth shooting and cut straight from the 90s Williams mold, with one of the coolest toys every on the bowling mini game. Fantastic theme integration.

My only complaint is it's a bit straightforward, with no big risk/reward mechanics or dangerous shots. I could see it getting old in a smaller collection, though it'd take a while regardless because it really does shoot fantastically. Really just a brilliant game.

This game is really good.

I like the layout. Some shots, especially the Walter ramp on the right are very difficult to hit but in general all of the shots are satisfying to make. Playing the game feels like playing an "older" Williams machine like Fish Tales just with more sophisticated technology.

I love the modes and that they include the "Do you see what happens Larry?" scene. And using the rug as a mode starter is a very clever idea since it really ties the movie together. The character multiballs are also noteworthy as they kind of remind me of Medieval Madness' Madnesses.

Everytime I play the game I have a lot of fun and there are a many unique features I come back to this game for. For example the bowling alley or the Dude's car on the upper playfield. Dutch Pinball have really put some thought into the game's features.

Overall this is a very good, special and fun game incorporated with a lot of new ideas.

Build quality is great, good flowing game with exceptional lighting! Upper playfield is well utilised, the rug is innovative as well as the bowling.

This is a great pinball, the whole package is beautiful!

A good machine top to bottom. Approachable, simple rules, balanced scoring, good for novices. One of the better upper playfields ever made. A dream theme for many Achievers(mega fans of the movie).

Might not hold the interest of a hardcore pinball player for long. Maybe a good game in a large collection, probably not a good only game.

One wonders how long it will remain in production since it’s made by a smaller manufacturer that has had a months to years long backlog for quite a while. I also wonder if these would be one of the most common games ever if they were produced by Stern and sold at Stern premium prices. Ah, look at me. I'm ramblin' again.

After a nine year wait I finally bought a TBL. The early machines had some issues but they seem to all be sorted out. Kudos to Barry, Rensch and Company for bringing DP back from what seemed an early demise. Mine plays like a dream. Oh, and the code is finished with a nice balance of rules, not too simple or complex.
It has just about everything including a fun upper and lower playfield, spinner, saucer, subway, two bash toys and lots of targets. There are more than 100 lit playfield inserts which is amazing. I like the look and feel of an old-style pin where you collect the letters in character names. Most newer pins shortcut this by minimizing lit inserts and noting the progress in the video display only.
Most of the parts are Williams so as others have said, it plays like a Williams, which makes it easy to maintain. The build quality is outstanding.
In addition, the theming is among the best ever. The movie is ranked near #200 all-time on IMDB which is high for a cult film. If you haven't seen it then you are missing out. I really don't understand how anyone could not like this pin. Playing it puts a smile on my face.
My only complaint would be the lack of licensing for the original songs. This can be fixed in the aftermarket but since the pin isn't shipped that way I feel the need to ding it a star. At least the sound quality is excellent, much better than my RUSH LE. Stern should take notes.

The game is a fun game but I dont think its a top 20 game. Many games are better.

The theme integration captures all the greatest elements of the movie. Shoots amazing. Upper playfield with the lets go bowling loop and bashing the car is awesome. The Brunswick bowling alley lower playfield is the best use of a lower playfield that I have seen. Carpet modes are fun. Call outs bring a smile to anybody playing. The code (1.12) is really good, I like that you can just play and the rules are easy to pick up and just have fun. The build quality on mine is superb. Great addition to any collection.

I’ve played this game many times at a friends. It’s a very good looking machine with great theme integration. Anyone who loves the movie will love this pin.

The game play is a bit slow and feels clunky to me at times. Ultimately it’s fun pin to play but I’m not sure I’d want to own it nor could I invest a ton of time playing it.

I absolutely love this game and play it on location whenever I get the chance. Love what the movie clips, the flow of the game , the rug, etc.

I’d love to own one one day and glad they are in production….

Love this game. It’s definitely an adult theme which I welcome. The complexity level of gameplay hits my personal sweet spot. There’s something about the lighting on this game and to me is the best of any I’ve seen and makes me feel like I’m at a bowling alley having a few drinks and a good time. The starry lit apron is a must. The mini bowling alley is the best lower playfield period. I’ve had a few issues, nothing I couldn’t fix. So far it’s been great and more than I expected.

probably one of the best machines of all time. so beautiful ! mine is from 2022 and no quality issues, built in the most beautiful way.
Very fun sticky game has its theme like never before.
simple and obvious rules of the game but all the same a lot of things to do on it.

I may just miss this little epic side when we manage to achieve big goals, a little code work could certainly improve this point.

this game has come a long way. The early ones, played like crap and were plagued with problems. If you have one made after nov of 2021. It's a totally different experience. newer games play 1000x's better. Code has come a long way. It turned into a fantastic game.

I really like this pin. It's built like a tank. My only crits are that while I understand the music, and think the midi cover route was as good as it can be, this pin would have benefited greatly from music licensing. Love the art, LOVE LOVE LOVE, the art, EXCEPT the character portraits above the bowling alley. Strong echos of 00's stern photoshop design and these would have been beautiful in the same lineart style elsewhere on the playfield.

The layout is very fun and there are a ton of toys packed in here.

I wanted to wait a while until I felt the time was right to leave a review as having waiting for so long to own this pin it felt only right to give it a full honest opinion.

So here it is

Wow what a machine , it's everything I wanted in a pinball machine based on one of my absolute favourite movies of all time.
It's been a long journey with this game and one came up for sale I left on it and have been enjoying it ever since.

It reminds me of an old Williams game , in the simple yet challenging code the shots and feel are like playing a Williams . Its easy to see what you need to do and it's not like a lot of the new titles that have so much code and so many rules that you need a degree to be able to play. This is simple it's all laid out easily to understand yet it's a very challenging game to get all the way through to the wizard mode.

My machine has had a new drive that I got from some clever folk on here that has all the original music and some amazing tracks added that suits the game perfectly, I would say personally this is absolutely essential as it makes it into an incredible music pin

This beast flows really well and the toys and gimmicks are spot on , the machine is so loaded and it's built like a tank, it feels as heavy as the hobbit and that I swore to never move another again

If your a fan of the movie this really is a machine you need to search out , I keep games for very short periods of time as a rule but TBL joins rick and morty in hallowed world of being keepers , well for now at least .

The one thing and it's so small , but the one tiny thing that lets the game down I feel is this .
When you stack all the characters and you don't start the multi ball just like MM there is no sense of accomplishment, when you do this in MM you get royal madness and it's such an amazing feeling TBL does it the same yet you don't get any reward , it's completely devoid of any feeling .. it's such a shame as there feels like there is no point to going to all the effort of stacking all the characters. I mentioned this to Dutch pinball and those awesome guys said it's something they will bear in mind so who knows maybe some time we will see some kinda mega achievement.

So to sum up it's a masterpiece
Absolutely love it and huge congratulations to Barry and the team at Dutch pinball .

TBL Achiever edition is the perfect pin. I wasn't quite sure on the theme and how it would translate (love the movie) however they nailed it !
Such an awesome machine and with the latest code and rule set and the multiple upper and lower playfields what more could you ask for.
Artwork is amazing and the call outs and music are like you are watching the movie.
Smooth game play and heaps of toys and challenges.

Very unique game. I like that there is an upper and lower playfield. I have not seen too many games with both.

The latest software update that allows you to just play the bowling game as a menu selection is awesome.

Love the moving rug, bashing the car and of course the bowling game.

Excellent theme and a very fun machine. The new update drastically improves rules and it now feels complete. I love the machine, but there is something about the layout/feel that I simply don't like.

Besides matching up to the movie- this is a great pinball machine period. Then throw in the actual theme and movie ties, all the toys and mods - this is a go to no matter who is playing (I do recommend setting the sounds to family mode if younger children are close by ).

I am lucky enough to finally own a Big Lebowski ... given the past history I never thought I would even see one in real life, let alone own one. I have nothing but praise for this machine and the dedicated hard work of everyone involved in bringing this masterpiece to life. The theme hits the mark in every way. I am a 1990's Bally/Williams man and the best way I can describe this pin is that it plays like a classic 1990's but butter smooth and with all the bells and whistles players now demand from a modern machine. The shots are varied, the game play is immersive and it is a pleasure to play. This game is nothing short of amazing.

Absolutely perfect theme integration. Fun bally type rules and shots. Art is great and the stock sound system is amazing. If you like the move you will love the pin!
