Its a work of art as much as it is a fantastic game to play. I will say it the best art in ALL OF PINBALL. Game play consists of basic modes and shots nothing spectacular or boring either. But the sounds, theme and visuals and toys take the game into the hall of fame.

Though an easy playing machine, I did enjoy the toys on the playfield as well as the round ramps and such. Since this was hard machine to find, I was excited to play it finally last year. Put about 50 games on it or so.

Big Bang Bar is a table with a beautifully executed theme.

The Good:
This game looks great. The sounds and toys are fantastic. The ramp with the lit arrows is an incredible addition that more ramps should have. (Homer Simpson voice): Mmmmmm... Tubedancer... aaaaaaagghghghhh...

The Bad:
Most of the modes are not that well thought out. A few are very unbalancing. You'd better have friends that have this game and are willing to share. Or... you can choose between this table and buying a new car. That is, if you can find one for sale. Silly expensive.

The Takeaway:
Mark Ritchie did a great job with this table (just like PinballMagic) and it was just fate that handed him a corporate decision. A little to the left... A litle to the right... Lots of fun, nicely done.

I would like to play a game with complete programming, since many of the goals cannot be completed, other than shooting the ramp. That seems to be the only shot in the game. Has fantastic art, and I love the theme. Flow is really great, and its a game that has so much potential. Would love to play a complete version, if one exists.

I like adult themes, and BBB definitely delivers on that. This pin has a striking, memorable, and attractive art package that immediately catches your eye. The "Tube Dancer" toy is one of the coolest things ever put into a pinball machine. The callouts are well-done & quite hilarious. However, the "Upstairs!" quote really started grating my nerves after a while due to its repetitiveness & annoying delivery. The rules are decent, and most modes are somewhat easy to complete, so set it up difficult for more of a challenge.

Played BBB this weekend at the pinball museum in Baltimore MD and was disappointed. Maybe it was how it was set up but a majority of the balls coming through the pops hit the backside of the drop target bank, roll to the end come screaming sdtd. It was a fight every time to keep the ball in play. Also, again it may be how they had it setup (darkened room with black lights) but i found the upper right corner to be so dark i couldn't see any action up there. The museum had it setup to take bills for donation and I had put $5.00 in and walked away with $3.00 still on the machine. Just not my cup of tea.

The lighting effects, the sounds, the artwork, the gameplay - they are all 10's, the most fun game I have ever played.

Big Bang Bar was a huge treat to play, and it was bitter-sweet to find out how much fun it really is. This game is perfect for me, the problem is, I can never afford it, and very little people will ever be able to truly experience how awesome this title is. It's a real shame that this game never found a true release, since it really is one of the best pins I've ever played. The art is amazing, the shots are satisfying and challenging, and it shows tons of creativity/personality. BBB is a must play, if you can find it!

Also played this one @ LTGs and shared the addiction. I understand some people don't like the soundtrack but found it very, very addictive...

Edit: found it again in Saint Etienne for a Pinball Expo. Spent many more games on it. Love it even more, had to boost ratings again!

Edit again: found a third one! Even better!

if it wasnt for the limited numbers produced, this would be a sub $2k game

Beyond the hype, it's a fun game that keeps your interest. Not deep but a fun adult themed game.

Didn't know what to expect before playing this considering it's collectors status & high value. When I walked away, I thought that it was a fun machine to play and further thought the theme was pretty cool. Not a must have for me, but a good machine none-the-less.

Great sound on this pin, and I love the artwork. But the overall package isn't that great when you consider what it has to offer versus the price they sell for. Fun to play on location every once and awhile, but I won't go out of my way to try and get more games in on it.

Theme very well implemented, cool sounds. Too rare and too costly, but great fun nevertheless.

High quality game. Good pace on ball action. Lighting is good. Pop bumbers are awesome (design/action/placement). Theme is fine w/ me, but a bit odd. Artwork on cabinet & playfield very good. Translite artwork good, but not A+.

Played this and was not really impressed compared to how people rave about it.
It was a fine machine, but nothing worth the asking price

I played this @ LTGs and it was awesome. Crazy how much these things go for, but rarity deems the price. And the game is down right outstanding to play.

It's a great game. Very fast. Ramp send the ball all over. Modes are fun to accomplish. Love the sound. Extremely collectable. Fits well in any collection.

Very rare. A fun and funny pin. this is a 'show and tell' pinball machine that makes it intriguing on its own. It's the Jetson's meets the bar scene in Star Wars. Must play for any pinhead!

Went in thinking this has to be an over rated pin that people are hyping just because low production run. Played it recently and what a SURPRISE. This game looks great, original, and the playfield and theme incorporation is excellent. Really fun pin that plays fast. Worth the hype.

I am grateful to a fellow Pinsider for allowing me to play his BBB so that I can offer my own rating. Most pinheads probably won't ever get a chance to play this excellent Sci-Fi alien bar based game.
The sound quality is really good, with plenty of bass from the speakers, I'm not too keen on the sound of the groaning ladies when you hit those Tube Dancer targets though. The illuminated film arrows on the Tube Dancer ramp are really neat, as are those two alien "froggies" that hold the ball in their mouths, and the gyrating Tube Dancer herself. Great flow and plenty of various shots to go for, with some great comical quotes and DMD animations as well. This game reminds me of Cirqus Voltaire too, but it's a lot, lot better to play in my opinion.

I played this at SS Billiards in MN. This is one weird and cool-looking pin. Wish it was more common.
