Absolute classic! It's still just as fun hitting the UFO in the centre and the ramp shots!

A classic and rightfully so. Love shooting the saucer, but not so keen on the other shots. The speech with the different accents is great fun. You always get a smile on your face when playing this.

Great game. It’s a classic for a reason. No matter how many new games come out, AFM still holds its place.

Attack from Mars is a lot of fun. Retro theming and great playability.

I've played this several times trying (for the life of me) to see why this pin is such a favorite and I still have no clue. It gets old so fast.

AFM is a favourite of mine. Excellent game and enough depth for most players. Original didn't have the shaker motor, but subsequent revisions did and it really adds to the gameplay. Definitely a keeper!

Possibly the best of all time. Better than MM in my opinion. You have to play it enough to get to know it to really understand, but it won't take long. Amazing example of how callouts and theme can take a game to the next level and then some, modes and deep rules be damned. If you know it, just hearing one nearby will make you instantly dig in your pocket for quarters. Can't sat enough about how this game makes me feel when playing.

Attack From Mars is a classic, I have the original machine. The game is great with logical rules and everyone loves destroying the saucer and seeing the martians jump. For the better player, it's more about controlled shots to the ramps and orbits as you work towards Total Annihilation - bashing the saucer is risky! The cabinet artwork is a bit plain, and the playfield could have more artwork too - a lot of space is taken up by the many large light inserts but on the other hand that does help make your progression easier to track so I can't ding it too hard there.

Superfun for a few games, bit grinding the saucer gets boring quickly.. but the sounds , music, animation makes me laugh all the time.
For me the too high scoring system is a bit annoying..

love the fact its more designed as a player minded game, the sauser is a ball drainer.. but it has a really easy multi ball what makes it a really fun game to play long.. very well thought of. understand they had a hard time beating itself in the year 2000 wel deserved spot on this list

Attack From Mars is an unforgiving table. Speed ??and precision are required to score high points. The missions are extensive but not overly intricate. The table is suitable for beginners and professionals. The callouts are iconic and never get boring. Too bad that so few of this table were produced and the prices to buy are enormously high. It would be a dream to own such a table. Luckily there is such a table in the "Extraball" pinball museum in Neuwied

A masterpiece. In a collection which has new game I'll probably play the new game over it, but you have to take age into account too. But for how much Ive played afm, the code does surprise me at times still. The only points lost in my review were from the layout: it's perfect but also a touch boring due to its symmetry. But it still was tough not to give it perfect marks. Incredible theme integration. This game deserves a top 5 spot in all of pinball.

Love it, just perfection. The whole knock off Mars Attack 60s sci fi vibe is fantastic and the layout and toys are just treats

This is a fun game with seemingly one objective... destroy the saucer. Over and over again. This is difficult because the saucer is designed to drain your ball right down the middle, so you better have quick reflexes and a good slap save. It's very satisfying when you take the saucer out though... especially if the machine has a shaker. The martians attack sequence is also pretty fun as you get to stop the animatronic on each of the 4 martians you hit. This game hands out points like hotcakes. When you're used to scoring millions, it's fun to score several billion every now and then.

A classic! There’s a reason this and Medieval Madness stay at the top of the list.

Another game we have had since it came out. It was a great earner on the route and in the arcade. Pulled one off for our keeper machine. This gets more play the MM. So much fun and makes you laugh when you are playing.

Good game for beginners. Easy fan layout, simple rules.

Can't wait to own one, I play it every chance I get. Generally not into Fan layouts, and on some routed machines, the UFO shot is insta-drain but I love it. Blowing up the UFO (especially with a shaker) never gets old.

My only critique would be for a little more ramp action. both ramps returning back down the side feels like a miss, IMO, but I can appreciate the simplicity.

What a fantastic game! I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed playing it until I recently spent some time with a friend's machine. The shots are so smooth, and it can be a flow-monster once you get in the zone. The goals are clearly defined, and the progression is fun. It's a classic for a reason! Wish I had one in my collection!
