Some tips and hints regarding story writing for the Pinside

Your story doesn't have to be top notch writing but please do try to make use of things like paragraphs, capitals and commas and points. You know, the basic stuff that makes a piece of text readable.

The idea of the Pinside stories is that they contain user-generated original content. So please do not copy content from other sites even not with accreditation. We are looking for original content.

That said, occasionally we do allow stories copied from other sites, but only in the "Community" section of the site. This can be press releases or sometimes articles from online newspapers and such regarding really interesting news on the Pinball front. The idea is that you don't copy work but use quotes from an article. Add some of your own writing and a link to the original article site.

So what can you write about? Well, You can write anything you like about a machine or its manufacturer, be it a technical story, a memory you have about it, or maybe some playing tips.

Finally (and needless to say), we don't allow racist remarks, heavy swearing and things like that? This site is read by all kinds of people from all over the world and we want to be sure that everyone has a happy experience. You know what I mean!
