I have a set of prototypes Pinblades being shipped back to Joe so he can get the slots cut out for the STLE. Joe and I will be offering these off Pinball Refinery's website along with the added UV lighting effects to make these glow and come alive.... So give us a little more time to finalize everything and we will get these shipping out in no time.

So when you do the cut out for the red lights, is it just going to look like they are shooting through space or are they doing something specific?

These look great! I'm in! I think I'd rather do these than mirror blades this time around. That game is bright enough as it is...I don't think more light reflecting off of the mirrors is needed on this one. I'll be looking back for when / where to order.

Does the premium have the LEDs on the cabinet. In other words, would these also fit the premium?

The ST Premium does not have the LEDs in the Cabinet, but Joe and I will offer these ST Pinblades for the Premium and Pro.

There will be an option on the website to choose the LE or the Premium and Pro versions when you order them... I will set up the website very soon so everyone can order them.

If you go Refinery Pro the original design by Joe matches the blue of the powder coat almost perfect I would go that route. This design looks great as well!

I have that set on the way, should be here any day now as will my Refinery package, When I saw these new blades I messaged Joe and he offered me a direct swap for the new ones (really nice guy). But if the Dude says the other ones are better with the Refinery package I will just keep those then. I was just thinking more in terms of the UV light mod Hemi has coming, you can't do that with the old ones

It's just preference, the original design with Refinery Pro powder coat looks like it shipped that way from the factory. I'm sure either one would look great can't you can't go wrong either way. I'd at least check the original design out first before deciding on it.

No worries... I will have a set for your machine and add the UV lighting effects to it just like we talked about. I am installing the UV effects into my machine today, so it will be ready for the final Pinblades from Joe and show off the complete effects....

I also have more customized mods up my sleeve for your machine ... You'll see

We are now taking orders for the ST PinBlades artwork.... I am getting the final set of them today and I will install them ASAP and post pictures and video of them in my STLE. I am sorry for now the lighting effects are for the LE and Premium. I will develop them for the Pro version soon.

Pinball Refinery

I need to see a video of these babies working in the pin before I order them. I want to see what the cut out for the red lights in the cab are going to do. Last I heard they will be shooting from one planet to another?

Here is the video of the STLE PinBlades in action with the lighting effect on, at 1:08 in the video the light turn off. You can see the BIG different it looks when the LEDs are off. The video shows it to look blue, but it is purple and everything is glowing... The camera can only pick up so much... These look AMAZING. Uploading pictures is a few.

The LEDs are on during the Klingon Multi-ball with the star field projector running as well, they work perfect together.... This LED kits is $55.00 plus shipping.

So the led kit is for the uv effect? Where are these LEDs placed?

How will these hold up over time?

Yes the LEDs are UV.. Which makes everything glow like black light.... These are on rails that are mounted inside the machine... You can see them on the pictures.... I just got done playing more games on my LE... It's Completely AWESOME.

I am not sure I know what you are referring to.... The PinBaldes or the LED lighting.

I know Joe did a video of him taking scissors and trying to scratch them, well they did not scratch. He puts a protective coating over the top of the vinyl artwork to keep them from getting damage by the playfield if it needs to be serviced.... I also believe we will include felt strips for the sides of the playfield to add that much more protection to the PinBlades.
