In the spirit of the "Ever buy a pin and then go...meh" discussion; what would be a game that you bought and were surprised how much you enjoyed it. I guess it doesn't even need to be surprising. It could simply be; what would be the last game to leave your collection?

I don't have a large collection, but for me it would be Fish Tales. I bought it and after only a few games on the machine I thought I might have bought my "meh" machine. I wasn't a huge fan of the theme, there really aren't any "modes", and it's a overall it's a fairly simplistic game. However, the more and more I play it the more I want to play it. While it is simplistic, it's still really challenging. I rarely complete the tackle box and when I do, for whatever reason, the center ball becomes impossible to hit. I guess I crack under the pressure of a 100,000,000 point shot. The bottom line is, I've owned it for several years and keep finding myself hitting the start button for one more game. It's a keeper.

I've heard a lot of great things about Tron, but have never had the chance to play one. Hopefully someday I'll stumble upon one. I'm not a huge fan of the theme, but it's not at the point where the theme detracts from the game. It just wouldn't add anything for me.

TSPP. Deepest game I have ever played. Since its almost unbeatable I never get bored. Plus the theme is fun.

Seeing the link I felt bad thinking it was something recent. I don't feel too bad, it was started a year ago. At least it's not another MMR topic.

I can't see either my Tron LE or TS leaving anytime soon.

Amen to that. I included the link to show some thoughts from a year ago.
Folks may have changed their opinion since then.

Flash Gordon's going nowhere.

For me it will be Tron followed by Congo. I wont know how I feel if add a TAF as I really enjoy this game at other people's homes.

the shadow ...second to last to leave would be black knight

Bram Stoker's Dracula

My 1963 Gottlieb Slick Chick. My family could be held hostage and I would be like "nope pick something else".

I'd have to think about it, but Johnny Mnemonic would be here for quite some time.

Given your collection that's staying a lot. I had to decide between my Fish Tales and Johnny Mnemonic. After my OP you can probably guess Fish Tales stayed. I like them both. If the modes were a bit more fun in Johnny Mnemonic it would have been really close, Power Down is a lot of fun, but getting there wasn't nearly as fun. Part of the problem is the modes really just didn't bring back memories of the movie. I often found myself shooting ramps and then pounding on the spinner. The up the middle spinner shot is long and rewarding. I still haven't found a spinner that I enjoy more.

Jesus this is a hard question!

DH,LOTR,CFTBL,TAF all came back! I don't want to sell, I want them all!!

If my life depended on it, would probably be AFM, no MM, no BBB, no CFTBL...no wait...

#22 10 years ago

Seeing as how the thread from a year ago is posted, I went back and read what I put...Still pretty much the same here, although both WW and ES are gone...So now I'm not sure what would go if it came down to it and I had to sell something...

I can never get rid of my Abra-Ca-Dabra. There's too much childhood in that cabinet to part with at any price.

MM. Yeah, even though you can't give them away now. I just like it that much.

TAF and FT will stay forever.

Actually so will my HUO BK2k, and Congo, and Stargate, and ...

well you get the idea....

RFM will have more money and time than it should so it will also stay forever.

Basically, I need more room and $$$$ because currently they are really all keepers

TSPP and Space Shuttle

Probably sounds stupid but I think it would my newest edition WOZECLE. I am really empresses with all it is. I also have an emotionalnattachment to my BK2K as it was the first pin I completed a complete restoration on.

Im with you bro. Remake or no remake she was never leaving, ever.

Bram Stoker's Dracula

And a second vote for BSD! Mine isn't going anywhere. It wasn't my first, and it wasn't my last. It is just the game I could never imagine selling. Others can come and go, but that one is nailed to the floor.
