I cleaned my under play field plastic troughs yesterday and now having power ball identification issues. At first every ball that went into the piano registered as a power ball and then after a few games there was no power ball registering at all no matter what. can anybody offer me some advice.

Try cleaning the opto switches.

Have you tried reseating the connector of the powerball sensor?

Can you tell me where to look and how to clean the sensors

To be safe you should check the manual to see what is recomended to clean the sensors with.

Agree with jackd104, sounds like a connector got loose. Also make sure the powerball detector isn't loose or pulled away from the subway. I think those things need fairly close proximity to work.

I'll second this suggestion. The prox sensors need to be carefully adjusted to make sure they pick up the ball. Best advice is to use the switch test and test the sensitivity of the subway trough sensor. If it doesn't pick up at all, you probably have some wiring related issues. If it picks up sometimes, it's probably an adjustment. I had my own troubles with the trough sensor. Turns out mine was too close to the metal balls to pick it up, and when I adjusted it slightly further away it registered every time.
