Apple just released iOS 7.1.0 today, and those who have installed it are saying the iPad 2 stutter is gone!

#1402 10 years ago

I'll update right now and report back tonight.

#1403 10 years ago

The iOS update fixed it!

#1404 10 years ago
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

Yep....Woo Hoo!

#1405 10 years ago

Who Dunnit was just released on ipad today and looks great. Next months table hint had indy cars so I'm guessing I500, that would be sweet!

#1406 10 years ago

I personally think it will be High Speed... MAS4100 is the number of the license plate on the car!

#1407 10 years ago

WOW! I had never played any version of Who Dunnit! before. What a cool game! It's like Clue pinball. Does it get boring/is it too simple ? Seems like it would be more popular than it is.

The major complaint I've heard from people was once you've played long enough to know the clue/suspect combination, it's too easy.

It's still the game I hope to trade my F-14 for at the SFGE.

#1409 10 years ago

Just played a few games of Whodunnit and I'm hooked! I might have to start looking for one of these.

Also, my name is Tony, so there's that.....

#1410 10 years ago

Is it me or are the ables starting to look worse and worse on iOS with each new release? They are very plain looking compared to some in the past such as T2 or even some of the early tables.

Maybe also the roulette "bet your score" scoring makes scores feel a bit too fake, as well.

#1412 10 years ago

It's definitely High Speed. Look closely on the license plate on the playfield.

#1413 10 years ago

I wish they would spend more time getting season 2 released on the PS4 or at least a release date. I'd love to play some of the pins you guys are raving about.

PS4? They should be pulling out all the stops for the XBOX 360 which was "abandoned" at the altar. PS4 is new and should wait its turn in line.

Sorry, but they haven't really been cool about getting the XBOX 360 squared away.

#1415 10 years ago

who dunnit is nice and buggy. every multiball I had stuck one in the shooterlane with no way to shoot it.. did the 'call attendant' thing and it would fire off.

#1416 10 years ago

High Speed is next; there are new achievements on Steam!

#1417 10 years ago

Cool.. another release...

#1418 10 years ago

I still can't seem to find any info on the cab release. Has that ever been updated? Anyone know?

#1419 10 years ago

There's a thread about cabinet options in the Pinball Arcade Fans forum. The gist of it is that it's coming but not a high priority, so who knows when we'll actually see it: http://pinballarcadefans.com/showthread.php/7197-when-will-we-see-cabinet-options

I've got TPA set up in my cab and it plays well enough but my DMD and backglass screen are waiting.

Anybody figure out what the next table is? The clue is kinda weird. I am guessing Diner.

Junk Yard. Note the toast, which is used in the respective video mode against Spike.

Ah, I have never really played Junkyard enough to know that. Cool

#1423 10 years ago

For what it's worth, Wikipedia lists the next tables to be Junkyard followed by Diner and BSD.

I know Wikipedia isn't always the best source as it's information is posted by the general public. Still, they were right about the last couple of releases.

#1424 10 years ago

I would be very happy if that were the case. I like both Diner and BSD.

#1425 10 years ago

I met Norm from Farsight Studios at PAX East in Boston. He was SUCH a nice guy and obviously is passionate about pinball and working on the Pinball Arcade. They seem to have a really good team over there.

Yeah... I met him last year at CalEx. Couldn't have been a nicer guy.

its just crap that its devolved to 1 table a month now.

#1428 10 years ago
Quoted from BloodyCactus:

Why is that crap?

#1429 10 years ago

I will happily take one pin a month as long as they keep them coming.

#1430 10 years ago

I'm still waiting for Banzai Run; after playing it at Kickback, I can't seem to let go of it! That game is amazing, and it would just be awesome to see it converted.

I'd rather have one great table than two so-so ones, or one that I know I'll never play. Here's looking at you, Goin Nuts.

#1432 10 years ago

Just downloaded Seasons 1 and 2... this is what I have been looking for! Can't wait for more games to be released!

#1433 10 years ago

Still waiting on 2 screen support with movable DMD to backbox screen like you'd do on a 2 screen Hyperpin cab... hopefully they are devoting more time to that. I'd rather have all of the great ones they've done already be truly cab playable before moving forward. Their gameplay and looks are awesome... just need the full cab support. I would much rather play their BOP over a VP version... it looks amazing.

#1434 10 years ago

Confirmed on Facebook that Junk Yard is next. Can't wait to start playing previous modes in the Time Machine

#1435 9 years ago

Apologies for intentional double posting, but Diner is confirmed for Season 3!

We're also getting a new Stern game near the end of Season 3, and there is some speculation of Bram Stoker's coming our way

#1436 9 years ago

Wait what do you mean by new Stern? Like a recent Stern game? That would be awesome.

I have no idea. All I know is any type of Stern game (could also fall under Data East or Sega).

Could it be a classic stern? I would love to see Seawitch.

#1439 9 years ago

Perhaps a classic Stern as nearly all their modern titles are licensed.

#1440 9 years ago

It bugs me so bad, that they use current Stern logo on Stern Electronics pinball tables. It was two completely different companies, era, people, hardware platforms and games.

Sharpen up, Fars.

Sharpen up, Fars.

Since they contact Stern for approval to do their games, Stern is probably telling them to use the current logo, not the 'time correct' logo.

#1442 9 years ago

I bet it's going to be a modern Stern, there's been a lot of requests for Tales from the Crypt since the beginning of the game

#1443 9 years ago

TFTC is Data East. Have they swung any DE or Sega games over under the Stern banner?

#1444 9 years ago

I'd guess one of the cheaper Stern licenses like they did with RBION. Maybe Monopoly, Roller Coaster Tycoon, or an unlicensed like High Roller Casino.

#1445 9 years ago

I think they've said they can't properly emulate SAM so anything from WPT forward is out, although anything other than WPT would be a huge license anyway. So yeah, I'd bet on RCT, HRC, Monopoly, Sharkey's, or maybe Seawitch. Here are the results of the Stern/Sega/DE poll done last year:

Poll #6 : Stern/Data East/Sega

1) Tales from the Crypt (Data East, 1993)
2-T) Monopoly (Stern, 2001)
2-T) Rollercoaster Tycoon (Stern, 2002)
4) Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends (Data East, 1993)
5) High Roller Casino (Stern, 2001)
6) NASCAR (Stern, 2005)
7) Time Machine (Data East, 1988)
8) Sharkey’s Shootout (Stern, 2000)
9) Seawitch (Stern, 1980)
10) Viper Night Drivin' (Sega, 1998)

#1446 9 years ago

RCT4 was just released for mobile devices. maybe they're doing RCT for some inter-corporate synergy. (ps don't buy RCT4, it sucks)

#1447 9 years ago

FarSight is doing a JunkYard lifestream here!: http://www.twitch.tv/farsight_studios

#1448 9 years ago

they had a poll quite some time back, and one of the options was Seawitch.

#1449 9 years ago

Junkyard just released. What a fun game! I've never played it before and scored over 38 mil.

#1450 9 years ago

The latest VP test version with physmod plays so much better than pinball arcade. VP has moved from unplayable garbage to a pretty awesome playing platform. There's absolutely no comparison in game play between the two anymore. I've converted several tables to physmod for testing: http://pinballbulbs.com/files/physmod.html

You guys are welcome to them.
