WOW! I had never played any version of Who Dunnit! before. What a cool game! It's like Clue pinball. Does it get boring/is it too simple ? Seems like it would be more popular than it is.
Quoted from rommy:Does it get boring/is it too simple ? Seems like it would be more popular than it is.
The major complaint I've heard from people was once you've played long enough to know the clue/suspect combination, it's too easy.
It's still the game I hope to trade my F-14 for at the SFGE.
Just played a few games of Whodunnit and I'm hooked! I might have to start looking for one of these.
Also, my name is Tony, so there's that.....

Maybe also the roulette "bet your score" scoring makes scores feel a bit too fake, as well.
I wish they would spend more time getting season 2 released on the PS4 or at least a release date. I'd love to play some of the pins you guys are raving about.

PS4? They should be pulling out all the stops for the XBOX 360 which was "abandoned" at the altar. PS4 is new and should wait its turn in line.
Sorry, but they haven't really been cool about getting the XBOX 360 squared away.
who dunnit is nice and buggy. every multiball I had stuck one in the shooterlane with no way to shoot it.. did the 'call attendant' thing and it would fire off.
There's a thread about cabinet options in the Pinball Arcade Fans forum. The gist of it is that it's coming but not a high priority, so who knows when we'll actually see it: http://pinballarcadefans.com/showthread.php/7197-when-will-we-see-cabinet-options
I've got TPA set up in my cab and it plays well enough but my DMD and backglass screen are waiting.
Quoted from Gov:Anybody figure out what the next table is? The clue is kinda weird. I am guessing Diner.
Junk Yard. Note the toast, which is used in the respective video mode against Spike.

Ah, I have never really played Junkyard enough to know that. Cool
I met Norm from Farsight Studios at PAX East in Boston. He was SUCH a nice guy and obviously is passionate about pinball and working on the Pinball Arcade. They seem to have a really good team over there.

Yeah... I met him last year at CalEx. Couldn't have been a nicer guy.
Quoted from BloodyCactus:its just crap that its devolved to 1 table a month now.
Why is that crap?
I'm still waiting for Banzai Run; after playing it at Kickback, I can't seem to let go of it! That game is amazing, and it would just be awesome to see it converted.

I'd rather have one great table than two so-so ones, or one that I know I'll never play. Here's looking at you, Goin Nuts.
Just downloaded Seasons 1 and 2... this is what I have been looking for! Can't wait for more games to be released!
Still waiting on 2 screen support with movable DMD to backbox screen like you'd do on a 2 screen Hyperpin cab... hopefully they are devoting more time to that. I'd rather have all of the great ones they've done already be truly cab playable before moving forward. Their gameplay and looks are awesome... just need the full cab support. I would much rather play their BOP over a VP version... it looks amazing.
Confirmed on Facebook that Junk Yard is next. Can't wait to start playing previous modes in the Time Machine
Apologies for intentional double posting, but Diner is confirmed for Season 3!
We're also getting a new Stern game near the end of Season 3, and there is some speculation of Bram Stoker's coming our way
Quoted from pezpunk:Wait what do you mean by new Stern? Like a recent Stern game? That would be awesome.
I have no idea. All I know is any type of Stern game (could also fall under Data East or Sega).

Could it be a classic stern? I would love to see Seawitch.
It bugs me so bad, that they use current Stern logo on Stern Electronics pinball tables. It was two completely different companies, era, people, hardware platforms and games.
Sharpen up, Fars.

Since they contact Stern for approval to do their games, Stern is probably telling them to use the current logo, not the 'time correct' logo.
I bet it's going to be a modern Stern, there's been a lot of requests for Tales from the Crypt since the beginning of the game
I think they've said they can't properly emulate SAM so anything from WPT forward is out, although anything other than WPT would be a huge license anyway. So yeah, I'd bet on RCT, HRC, Monopoly, Sharkey's, or maybe Seawitch. Here are the results of the Stern/Sega/DE poll done last year:
Poll #6 : Stern/Data East/Sega
1) Tales from the Crypt (Data East, 1993)
2-T) Monopoly (Stern, 2001)
2-T) Rollercoaster Tycoon (Stern, 2002)
4) Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends (Data East, 1993)
5) High Roller Casino (Stern, 2001)
6) NASCAR (Stern, 2005)
7) Time Machine (Data East, 1988)
8) Sharkey’s Shootout (Stern, 2000)
9) Seawitch (Stern, 1980)
10) Viper Night Drivin' (Sega, 1998)
FarSight is doing a JunkYard lifestream here!: http://www.twitch.tv/farsight_studios
The latest VP test version with physmod plays so much better than pinball arcade. VP has moved from unplayable garbage to a pretty awesome playing platform. There's absolutely no comparison in game play between the two anymore. I've converted several tables to physmod for testing: http://pinballbulbs.com/files/physmod.html
You guys are welcome to them.
