Ive got a MET pro. It was hooked up by alligator clips for a little bit of time to the woofer to an external sub.
Out of the blue the audio kind of dies, it goes from a loud setting to very low. Sometimes the game is on audio level 42-44 but normally on 36-38. Did a speaker die, is the board dying, or something else?

A couple of Times I heard this on the song Blackened with the same sub/alligator clips. I checked my connections and reclipped them they seemed fine but I haven't had a problem since. My volume is usually 45, but as high as 55

Cable is coming loose connected to the CPU. I reseated the audio cable and the issue went away. I was not the only one nor are you to have this exact problem. Easy fix - can't promise but I think I reseated the ribbon cable just for fun.

Thanks for the response. Ill take a look at the ribbon cable and the clips when I get home.

Don't forget the audio cables on the top of the CPU board.

exact same issue I had and this corrected it.

To the OP. Can you take a picture of what you are reseating?
