Williams, 1994Ive gotten good at troubleshooting these but before I started wanted to get some opinions as this one should be easy if I know where to start. Every switch in row 1 activates the next switch down in row 2. No matter which switch I press along row 1 or 2 it activates the other one...all other switches work fine. On the 8 by 8 grid all the problems occur on top 2 rows.
Any troubleshooting tips would be great
After quick read looks like row 1 and 2 wires are shorted together.

That would most likely be it. Remove the row and column connectors, heck for continuity between the two columns with a DMM and then start breaking down the circuit from there.
