ST Pro with several NEW mods (Phasers and more) going to PBL tomorrow

Hey Everyone,

I will be taking this ST Pro that I have been working on the Terry's open house at PBL on Friday 10/18/13 for everyone to check it out and play it. This machine plays fast and furious.

Here are the list of mods that I have added for now and we will be offering more very soon.....

- Added a sound controlled color changing LEDs to the Nebula zone and speakers.
- Added a USS Enterprise ship wired into the machine for illumination.
- Added Interactive Phasers from the Enterprise to the Vengeance ship.
- Added a Metal apron with lenses and interactive lighting effects.
- Changed the GI & flashers colors.
- Shaker motor.
- Playfield support Rails.
- Chrome flipper buttons and bats.
- Mirror Blades (still need to install).

Very cool. I like the idea of the phasers -- even though in the movie, the Enterprise never even had a chance to fire them at the Vengeance. Still, very cool. I was thinking of doing something like that on my STTNG.

I might never buy an LE again. Some of the Pinball Refinery stuff is actually BETTER! really great work. I can't wait to see this at Terry's tomorrow.

Thanks.... I haven't come up with prices on the mods yet, just installed them this week....But I will sell this machine tomorrow if anyone wants it

I have never seen the actual color of a Star Ship's phasers in real life.. Lol. Personally, I liked the teal blue ones that I installed but I can offer a few different colors.

Disruptors = Green
Quantum Torpedos = Blue

The phaser mod is pretty neat. How would it look with just one run of EL wire? Phasers are a single line of energy. I don't think I've ever seen two fired simultaneously in parallel beams.

I would be interested to see how the support rails are mounted. I have a set for my ST but I can't figure out a good way to mount them.

Where did you get your support rails from because the ones from PBL come with full instructions otherwise I just installed mine on Tron last night and did this write up here:\

They did come with instructions, but the front of the ST playfield is different from past sterns and also there are no pre-drilled holes on ST.

Get your new StarTrek mod (BangerJay bangin the Vengeance ship) before they are sold out. Designed by Hemi himself yesterday at the PBL open house.

I played this pin at the PBL party. Hemi and Zdoor did a great job. After all the Pinside complaints on ST Pro, I was surprised at how beautiful this ST Pro was. Then I saw the Pinball Refinery sign and figured you guys had done your magic on it.

I really liked the playfield lighting.

About the only change I would like to see... Sigma Color DMD. I wish PBL was a distributor for them.
