Ok I was playing tonight and noticed the sling wasn't working so I popped the hood to find a broken link.so been looking around online found the blue ones ? Are they the only option and if I do order get just the link or with all ready attached to plunger? or should I just wait to allentown? Unless someone near me has some for sale?any info will help as this is my first broken link thax
Not sure a "regular" punch will do; it has to be cylindrical, not tapered. Otherwise it will jam up on the plunger and won't drive the pin out. You'll also need a vise, or at least a badass clamp to hold it so you can wail on the pin.
Why not just buy a set of blue ones...one for each side...with new plungers attached? Assuming those are originals, you'll notice a nice improvement in game play with new ones.
I always use a washer, but if it is too tight and causes binding, leave it out.
