I have the opportunity to pick up a Demo man and will need to get rid of my road show in order to have room for it. I have really enjoyed RS but am kind of tired of the linear game play. What do you guys think of DM? I've play quite a few games on it on location and love the buttery smoothness of the ramps and the combos. I'm just waffling if it has enough depth and features to hold my attention.

One of my lowest rated games. Ugly all around. I'd wait for something better

I love DM. I find it easier to pick up and play than anything else in my collection which really took me by surprise. I've only played a few games of Road Show so I can't really comment on which one I prefer but I know my initial reaction to both games was favoring the play of Demo Man.

I love the price of DM, but don't like the game. I'd like to buy a RS some day.

I really enjoy my RS - it's still fun after having it for 10+ years

Poll added. Thanks for the input so far.

Had both DM is still here

both are fun, neither would stay long term

I love both games and have had RS for 2 years now and DM was my first pin which I sold 2 years ago and brought one back again this year for a second time around. If I had to choose I would probably keep Roadshow over it simply because I enjoy the variety of fun shots and love how both heads interact with the ball. DM on the other hand is a flow monster and the top controls are neat and give you a bit more leverage when it comes to nudging and shoving

The thing I think I'd miss most about RS is the right ramp, left ramp to the little flipper into the blast zone shot. I find that to be one of the most satisfying shots in pinball when the shaker motor just rocks the house. I just haven't beat demo man yet so I'm not sure what all it has to offer. Plus I was playing in location in a noisy bowling alley so it's difficult to get into it when you can't hear the music and call outs clearly. I've heard the sounds on this game are on point. I wish I could play one in someones home for a bit and then I'd really get a chance to judge it more throughly.

Demo man is awesome, great sounds and multiballs. Just gets a little old as the rules arnt that deep and you end up just choosing the modes you like on the claw. Still, good to own one for a while

Roadshow was my first pin and I regret selling it for my dead-end TZ restore project. It's a keeper if you can put up with Red and Ted's wacky antics.

I have both and I prefer DM. In my collection DM is one of my favourite pins from a "fun to play" perspective which really surprises me considering I also have TZ, STTNG, TRON LE, IM, Shadow, JM and LOTR. I have owned it for 3.5 years and love it. I can't really explain why but it always gives me a good rush when I play; yes I even use the handles most of the time. (I don't even mind the 3 big-heads). Maybe the game will finally go up in value when Sandra Bullock wins for best actress.

As an aside IM is my favourite pin. Apparently I never get tired of having it handed to me.

I do like Road Show but it is my least favourite game in my collection and will probably be the next on the way out.
