I'm making a big buy on a great top 5 machine. So I'm making my self part with my BSD or my Ripley?
What's up? Which gets the axe?

#2 10 years ago

If I were closer I would say sell BSD so I could buy it. Since I'm not a buyer sell ripley's, BSD is the better game.

Agreed! I'm on my 2nd BSD. Sold it once and missed it very much!

#4 10 years ago

Had 2 BSDs both CC quality. Like the game and it has good staying power. That being said RIPLEYS by a mile . so much more to to than just stack MBs.

#5 10 years ago

Iamdarras PM me I might be interested in BSD depending on price and condition maybe we can work something out.

If you are emotionally detached from them both enough to sell either then why not let them both go and have a two game rotation, twice the thrill of the chase and landing a couple of new champs to boot (sounds like you have one replacement in your sights already though).

Great point...sounds like the winning formula here...sell them both

#8 10 years ago

You already have 2 people saying they want your BSD....that should tell you something!! Get rid of that RBION!!!

#9 10 years ago

This one is easy:

If both were in a room and you only had time to play one, which I would it be?

Everyone's opinion is personal. Go with your heart on this one....

#10 10 years ago

Dump rbion

#11 10 years ago

I have both. I would get rid of BSD before Ripleys. Ripleys is a much better game IMHO.

#12 10 years ago

If it was my house, BSD would be the last to leave. I like Ripley's, but BSD set up correctly is just something special.

#13 10 years ago

I prefer Ripleys

#14 10 years ago

Had and sold BSD. Only pin I re-bought. Had ripleys and sold it after a few months. Good game but not a classic like BSD, unique and fun machine

#15 10 years ago

+1, BSD once set up is a Awesome pin to keep around

RBION is way underrated, and BSD is way overrated. My choice would be simple.

Thanks for all the input.. Sounds pretty even so far

#22 10 years ago

I might want the BSD...if yer' selling it, PM me. Honestly, I think you should let Ripley's go.

#23 10 years ago

I own both and would say BSD goes. But they are both fantastic games, hard call.

#24 10 years ago

I'll take the bsd if it hits the curb! Been wanting one for awhile now.

#25 10 years ago

So whatcha buying?

You should have added a poll....than it wouldn't be

#27 10 years ago

Boot BSD..... RBION is a great game and much harder to locate if you decide to bring it back.

database says 6801 BSDs, approx how many Ripleys?

Ripley's production is 2750. - I have BSD but would love to add RBION.

How new is rbion?
Both fun games and similar prices.

To own I'd go rbion
Rbion is better IMO for home gaming due to the modes and wizard mode finally.

BSD is awesome but kinda of shallow
30 million is really as good as it gets.

Glad it wasn't your girlfriend this time. I'd like both, but I'm too far south. So GLWS!

No but the girl just signed her own lease on a place !! Lol

#34 10 years ago

I'd sell BSD over RBION easily. BSD is a cool little game but I personally couldn't play it everyday.

#35 10 years ago

Is the poll asking which game to keep? Or which to sell? Or... does it matter!?

I know. I didn't vote because I have no idea that the 2 questions combines mean.

If I could rephrase
How new is rbion to you...

So what top 5 game are you trading her in for?

#39 10 years ago

Sell RBION. Poor art and overall composition.

#41 10 years ago

I dont get it . Personally I thing RBION is a much better theme alone . One based after the bazarre with outstanding artwork and one of the deepest rule sets out there. And one based after a B rated film with Keano Reeves.

I do love BSD but really there is no comparison to what would hold your interest longer.
( I sold my BSD to add RBION as it was the most shallow ) It was the mint one that sold at Allentown for 4K

AFM,LOTR,SM,LTBR,MOPLE,TSPP,TRON,RBION

Your thinking of Johnny mnemonic

#43 10 years ago

#44 10 years ago

It also cool to see such a split on this

He said 'B movie' not "goddamn abomination."

#47 10 years ago

It's October bsd wins by default.

#48 10 years ago

Since you are looking for cash, I doubt you are open for a trade? I would be happy to take either one off your hands and I could easily make it down to your neck of the woods.

Just thought I'd put it out there though in case you were even remotely considering it.

#49 10 years ago

Looking though your collection I'd sell one of the Star Wars machines. If you had more newer Sterns I'd say RBION, but both the games you mentioned are keepers.

#50 10 years ago

Keep BSD, but both titles are outstanding. "They say you are a man of good... taste."
