Please rate these pins in order of your favorites; "Atlantis","Lawman," "Eldorado," "Gold strike",
"Big Indian" and "Fast draw"... Thanks))
I added a poll but can't figure how to add the games to the poll list.

I added a poll but can't figure how to add the games to the poll list.
1) Atlantis
2) El Dorado
3) Fast Draw
4) Big Indian
5) Gold Strike (Note: I would not have this one in my collection as it is an AAB and I only collect Replay machines)
Ken
1. Atlantis
2. El Dorado
3. Big Indian
4. Fast Draw
5. Gold Strike. I like this PF better, but the BG of Fast Draw better.
I'm always a sucker for Drop Targets.
1. Atlantis
2. El Dorado
3. Big Indian
4. Fast Draw
5. Gold Strike same as el dorado just an add a ball
but like replay so it's last and I think that's why it's last on most list
1. Atlantis
2. El Dorado
3. Big Indian
4. Fast Draw
5. Lawman
Gold Strike would get traded off because I am a replay guy and not an AAB fan.
Tough when you have two of essentially the same game up there, but here goes
Gold Strike - AAB version gets the nod over replay. Not always the case, but it is here.
Eldorado - Loses out to Gold Strike by virtue of NOT being AAB. AAB just works well in this situation.
Big Indian - IMO one of Gottlieb's most underrated games. I guess the sales numbers speak otherwise though.
Quick Draw - Decent game to play with you buddies. Little holding power if playing alone.
Atlantis - IMO, one of the most currently overrated games out there - Wait a year and buy it when everyone is on to the new flavor of the week.
Lawman - all the fun of Atlantis with all the limitations of a mulitplayer
Quoted from DirtFlipper:1. El Dorado (by far)
2. Atlantis
what were the others again?
+1
El Dorado or Goldstrike - not sure which but number 1 as a tie.
May I ask why some people prefer Replay machines over AAB? Really just curious. I would think that in a home environment where games are already free you would rather win extra balls, but maybe there is more to it than that, would love to be enlightened.
Sorry OP if you consider this me hijacking your thread.
so my line up:
1. Gold strike
2. Atlantis
3. el dorado
the rest I have not played enough, but by looking at them and their features if they were offered to me I would say
4. Quick draw
5. Law man
6. big Indian

Search aab vs. replay here or on rec.games.pinball for endless debates on the subject going back several years...

Mainly what people played when young.
That said I never played AAB when young but I love them in the home now!
The "which is better AAB vs Replay" gets argued about once a month on here. It turns out it's pretty subjective and boils down to personal preference. Often if you grew up playing one or the other you may prefer that but not always. I grew up in Wisconsin and I like AAB games but then I like replay games too.
I like having 5 balls to play in a game where I light up the specials and get that knocker or barely get to the special to get that "One more game!" approach to beating the machine. I don't need or want balls 6+. To me it cheapens the game and makes the games easier to roll. This is all just my opinion.
I agree with Newman's assessment except for the part about Atlantis not being a great game. I beg to differ on that count. I have learned the less dangerous ways to play it and now enjoy it very much. I don't think it's just a popularity contest either.
Atlantis
Lawman
Quickdraw- Wonder what it would have been like as a single player
Eldorado
Goldstrike
Big Indian
Quoted from hoov:El Dorado (tough call between it and Atlantis)
Atlantis (tough call between it and El Dorado)
Gold Strike (game times too long for me - but I'm a replay guy)
Fast Draw (one of the few multi-players with resetting targets - black)
Lawman
Big IndianMost of these games I've had in my collection - I haven't played Lawman or Big Indian much.
1) Atlantis (fantastic gameplay)
2) Fast Draw (fast gameplay & resetting black targets)
3) Big Indian (resetting targets)
4) Lawman (good gameplay but I prefer Atlantis)
5) El Dorado (I don't like a lot - I have 3 same gameplay : Target Alpha, Canada Dry and El Dorado)
6) Gold Strike (I prefer replay games)
Gold Strike (prefer AAB)
Eldorado
Atlantis
Lawman
Quick Draw
Big Indian
partial to add-a-balls and not really crazy about "Atlantis". Single players far preferable to multi-players in most cases.
