Revenge From Mars
Bally, 1999Revenge from Mars, 4 of the lamps on one particular row of the lamp matrix are not working. Tried new bulbs and twist in sockets, still not working. Checking the lamp matrix it shows all of them on the same row, but other bulbs on that same row work. Is it possible that the related transistor partially fail so only some of the bulbs in a row will work?
No.
You have a broken wire/connection in the chain.

I was afraid of that. Best to start with the board the lamps mount to to check the traces and then work backwards from there?

Check continuity from a working bulb to non working bulb (with power off). If there is an open investigate where it is.
The switch/lamp wires daisy chain around the underside of hte pf. If the issue is there, probably a wire fell off a somewhere.
