Greetings fellow Pinside Pinball fantatics!

So BMW USA is holding a contest to see who can make the best 6 second commercial...yes, six seconds. "Why?" You might ask? Well, the new 3-series goes 0 to 60mph in 5.9...pretty clever idea. At least in my opinion.

So I made a video.

and...

As it turns out, I'm a FINALIST.

They picked the Top 30 videos out of about 1,500. I was one of them! Ha! I see a TZ in the future

Hmm didn't work in chrome for me had to use firefox. Watching the videos it seems like you are the only one who knows how to fadeout sound. Very nicely done.

Though they aren't all in 1080p, or use native progressive video content. Really? I can actually see the scanlines in the one of the drawing! Alex, yours looks like the only one that would actually fool me into thinking it is a real BMW commercial. That is an excellent way to appease their judges. It's the most professional by far.

Alex what filmmaking tactics did you have in mind with this video? Is simpler better? Is showing the BMW logo at the end significant? What factors do you think make your video stand out from the others?

I think simpler is ALWAYS better given that amount of time. Wait...are you interviewing me? lol
