Here are some pics from the PATZ 2013.

Kalamazoo Expo center; a nice newer looking building.

    IMG_6743.jpgIMG_6743.jpg

    #2 10 years ago

The normal front, Expo doors were for some reason locked, so they started letting everyone in through the giant bay door.

The High Speed on the left had its playfield glass break, so a shopvac was kindly lent out and new glass installed.

People are always cryin' for a Beatles pinball, so Gene brought one....Yayayayayayahhhhhhhhhh.

    IMG_6745.jpgIMG_6745.jpg

    #4 10 years ago

A lot more vendors than the Detroit Expo last month.

Here Gene shows off his stuff.

Lawman, Gigi, and my GFs least favorite game title, Gusher (I'm not joking, she took one look at it and said "Yeeachhh!".

    IMG_6747.jpgIMG_6747.jpg

    #7 10 years ago

    Orbitor 1 and Hollywood Heat.

    IMG_6748.jpgIMG_6748.jpg

    #8 10 years ago

Viper Nightdrivin' and Lost in Space.

Both these games had problems, no display on Viper and total brain malfunction on LIS.

    IMG_6752.jpgIMG_6752.jpg

Sorcerer, Cinema, Fireball Classic (1985), and Meteor.

Sorcerer was in great shape and even had it's backglass removed for scanning at one point.

This guy was selling legs with laser cut-outs that said "Fire Power" or "Adams Family" $50, not a bad price.

    IMG_6755.jpgIMG_6755.jpg

    #10 10 years ago

Paragon, Flash Gordon, Firepower, and Count-Down.

Paragon got a reproduction backglass installed. It did not light up as brightly as the OEM, so some bright LEDs are in its future. Sure looked nice with no peeling paint or fade.

    IMG_6756.jpgIMG_6756.jpg

    #11 10 years ago

    Captain Fantastic and Stargate.

    IMG_6757.jpgIMG_6757.jpg

    #12 10 years ago

High Speed, Surf Champ, No Fear, F14 Tomcat.

    Almost a Steve Richie row.

    IMG_6759.jpgIMG_6759.jpg

    #13 10 years ago

    Hayburners, Lectronamo, Centaur.

    Dayhuff stuff.

    IMG_6760.jpgIMG_6760.jpg

    #14 10 years ago

    Centaur, Congo, Elvis (Stern)

    IMG_6761.jpgIMG_6761.jpg

    #15 10 years ago

    Battle of the Brides.

The BOPB on the right was a little heavy on the LED colors, but was in amazing condition.

    IMG_6763.jpgIMG_6763.jpg

    #16 10 years ago

    AC/DC and Spiderman

    IMG_6764.jpgIMG_6764.jpg

Each girl had her own flipper.

They did better than their mom did.

Mystery Castle of Doom and Attack from Mars.

AFM was in really good shape, with color DMD. We had to level it, but otherwise, it was kickin.

Mystery Castle is an oddball game with a bit of a cult following.

They only made 500, so it is great to get to play one.

    #24 10 years ago

World Cup Soccer and Star Trek

    IMG_6769.jpgIMG_6769.jpg

    #25 10 years ago

Driving out tomorrow morning. I almost got rerouted to Dubuque, IA after a $3600 Addams Family Gold on Craigslist this afternoon. You can't win 'em all... or any of 'em!

    #26 10 years ago

Caveman is a rare (1800 made) game that had a built in video screen on the playfield.

If you die in the video game, you lose your ball (kind of like if you die in your dream).

    IMG_6770.jpgIMG_6770.jpg IMG_6771.jpgIMG_6771.jpg

    #27 10 years ago

Jet Spin and the original Fireball (1972).

Fireball is the best EM, bar none. Multiball, great skill shot, zipper flippers, outlane kickback, demons....

    IMG_6778.jpgIMG_6778.jpg

    #31 10 years ago

Black Jack, Star Trek (Bally), Sky Jump

    IMG_6779.jpgIMG_6779.jpg

    #32 10 years ago

    Bram Stroker's Dracula.

This game was LEDed by Cointaker, but unfortunately had opto problems and could not find it's balls.

JPop was in attendance, showing his new, no silkscreen, backglass and playfield printing system.

    Colors had excellent saturation.

Jpop was easy going, seemed glad to be there.

Caribbean Cruise and other cocktail pins in really great condition .

They even had a Roy Clark fully populated playfield ready to install.

    #35 10 years ago

    Atari Spaceriders .

You sure don't see one of these every day.

    IMG_6793.jpgIMG_6793.jpg IMG_6794.jpgIMG_6794.jpg

    #36 10 years ago

I got multiball on my first ball.

    IMG_6795.jpgIMG_6795.jpg

    #37 10 years ago

    Big Guns.

At 6 foot 8 inches, it was a seriously tall game.

Unfortunately, they never got it up and running.

    #38 10 years ago

Star Trek (Williams) and High Speed.

There was no lack of Star Trek machines at the show, with all three models in attendance .

This was the High Speed that got a new playfield glass installed.

    IMG_6801.jpgIMG_6801.jpg

    #39 10 years ago

We even saw Ben Heck sneaking around the show.
