Link did not work for me at work. I am all for a google doc spreadsheet but I can't man it at work and from past experience if all peoepl are allowed to modify the list then eventually someone will screw it all up on accident or on purpose.

I set it to public view, not public edit. :shrug: Ideal would be something posted on the MGC site that lists everything they know is coming, IMHO.

No. Easy reason for this - we've had people FREAK out that a game they thought was going to be there wasn't there, and that was without an official list. I know and understand that these machines are temperamental, so you never know. Last year, I brought one of my Mystery Castles which had worked flawlessly since the first day I got it, and I had fully tuned about one week before. It got to the show, and wouldn't power on.

Instead of having some idiot SCREAM at me that I ruined his entire trip because the game he was expecting wasn't there (for the record, a Time Crisis, so not even a pin), our policy is just that we keep a list ourselves, but don't make it public. Other shows do different things and that is great, but my theory is that if you are ONLY coming to the MGC to play Time Crisis, you might as well just stay at home anyway.

I wholly unopposed to people creating and maintaining lists elsewhere, although I strongly encourage everyone to also make sure to contact Keith who is keeping track this year so we know what is coming. Traditionally, we end up with about 25% more games at the show then we're told about, which is always at least somewhat difficult to manage. If you're trying to avoid doubles, I'm sure that Keith will be able to help too. But anyway, officially we will not have a list.

On a related note, if anyone has any really solid games they would like to potentially have used in the tournament, I'm looking for a few good machines. We have ideas about a number of machines that we could use, but we'd like to mix it up further this year.

Sorry Tim, I just got this thing put back together and am waiting for the main board to come back from Coin-Op this week. I literally bought it, tore it apart, sent the boards out and put it back together. . . haven't really got to play it.

If for some unlikely reason I decided to get rid of it after getting it going, you have first dibs!

I like it, but I played a Star Trek Pro at Pinball Life and Expo and couldn't stop playing it . . . I had to have one and it's quickly becoming my favorite! So LOTR is my STPRO money even though I already bought ST. LOL I think it's supposed to work the other way around . . . first sell one then buy the other.
