Guess I should have mentioned what I got:
Medieval Madness
Addams Family
Bride of Pinbot (with diamond plate pf)
Cyclone (with silk screened backglass)
Monster Bash
Attack from Mars
Paragon
Embryon
Joust Pin
and the following Pf's:
Medieval
Attack from Mars
Monsterbash
Cyclone
and Addams Family
Holy eff man... I think I would kill myself after that load, because I would know that there is no way I would ever get a better score than that.
Another collector leaving the hobby, but his prices were fair and the games were in good condition. The extra's really put the deal over the top.
Jon
Bad story teller online, but the owner got sick of hoarding stuff and called me for the entire haul. But it ended up being over 60 machines. So instead of buying everything, I just cherry picked what I could and offered other games to my friends.
Jon
Nice score, how did Paragon and Embryon end up on your cherry pick list out of all the other titles, must have been in mint condition ?

Because sooper-widebody is the bomb.
Wow that is quite an impressive haul, granted I may be a bit jealous of that mm. It still illudes me after 4 years. Haha hope you and your friends enjoy the impressive haul
thanks for all the kind words!!! I just started setting up the games, everything looking great so far. Might need a cliffy or two though
Jon
ps. im so happy to get another Monsterbash... really enjoy the game.
Almost I have a few more bux to spend but rather keep it (just in case). I could have blown my entire load there though, left a lot of good pieces :\
jon
That's awesome.
Sorry to hear of someone bailing out of pins, but sounds like he found a good person to take them.
I always wondered when a collector would drop out of the hobby. I'm surprised he didn't sell them off individually to various people. That seems unheard of for someone to sell an entire collection to one person, but I guess if someone is willing to buy them all.
That MM playfield alone is probably worth $1k.
Ok Jon, everyone is hinting but afraid to ask directly... So, what did you pay for the lot? Was there any haggling? Give us the meat and potatoes so we can live a major pin score vicariously.

Ill try to answer all the questions
* Anything for sale? No, planning on keeping everything I picked up.
* Why did your buddy leave the hobby? He has been talking about it for a while, he said he's going a different direction and doesnt want so many games. He ended up keeping 5.
* Why are you so handsome? I was born that way.. it was a gift.
* How much you Pay fo' that shiit yo? I really dont wanna say, but I paid below book on everything.
* Did you get the pf's for free?????? no, i paid for them.
thanks!!!
Jon
Congrats! So happy for you. (being polite an not saying how I really feel - hint, mostly sick with jealouy and other emotions I'd rather not mention) again, congrats
it's hard to tell if it was a score or not, since we don't know how much you landed it for. Reasonable in todays market could still be insane. I had my whole collection up for sale for $101k Reasonable? In todays market it's about right. Don't know if it would be considered a score.
