Took me a few weeks to make the deal, but it all worked out great.

Nice truck load there. Are they all plug and play or do you have a lot of work on that truck?

    #4 11 years ago

Holy eff man... I think I would kill myself after that load, because I would know that there is no way I would ever get a better score than that.

    #5 11 years ago

Holy cow! Sell a mansion for the lot!?!

    #6 11 years ago

    Sweet

    #7 11 years ago

Everything was nice and they play fine. Some have some switch errors, but all the errors are minor.

That is awesome! Congrats! Was it a warehouse raid or someone's collection?

    #9 11 years ago

Another collector leaving the hobby, but his prices were fair and the games were in good condition. The extra's really put the deal over the top.

Well come on tell us the story

    #17 11 years ago

Bad story teller online, but the owner got sick of hoarding stuff and called me for the entire haul. But it ended up being over 60 machines. So instead of buying everything, I just cherry picked what I could and offered other games to my friends.

Nice one...have they ever found a pinball in Storage Wars?

    #19 11 years ago

Nice score, how did Paragon and Embryon end up on your cherry pick list out of all the other titles, must have been in mint condition ?

    #20 11 years ago

    *seething jealousy*

    Great haul!!

    Because sooper-widebody is the bomb.

Actually, the Paragon and Embryons are going to a friend in Florida. The Paragon also came with 2 nice playfields. Gonna ship them off this next week. There are quite a few games i didnt get, but plan on getting them soon enough (once i recoup some cash).

    #26 11 years ago

    #28 11 years ago

Almost I have a few more bux to spend but rather keep it (just in case). I could have blown my entire load there though, left a lot of good pieces :\

    #32 11 years ago

    very nice score

    #33 11 years ago

    Jon, I hate you!

    #35 11 years ago

Wow Jon you really loaded up, so when you gonna sell some??

    #36 11 years ago

I did put a winky icon there.

    #37 11 years ago

    That's awesome.
Sorry to hear of someone bailing out of pins, but sounds like he found a good person to take them.

    #38 11 years ago

I always wondered when a collector would drop out of the hobby. I'm surprised he didn't sell them off individually to various people. That seems unheard of for someone to sell an entire collection to one person, but I guess if someone is willing to buy them all.

That MM playfield alone is probably worth $1k.

    #39 11 years ago

Ok Jon, everyone is hinting but afraid to ask directly... So, what did you pay for the lot? Was there any haggling? Give us the meat and potatoes so we can live a major pin score vicariously.

    #42 11 years ago

awesome haul! I am truley envious!

    #43 11 years ago

Ill try to answer all the questions

    * Anything for sale? No, planning on keeping everything I picked up.

    * Why did your buddy leave the hobby? He has been talking about it for a while, he said he's going a different direction and doesnt want so many games. He ended up keeping 5.

    * Why are you so handsome? I was born that way.. it was a gift.

    * How much you Pay fo' that shiit yo? I really dont wanna say, but I paid below book on everything.

    * Did you get the pf's for free?????? no, i paid for them.

    thanks!!!

    Jon

    #44 11 years ago

Ah, hoarders....nice to see a horde of games going to someone who will enjoy them.

    #45 11 years ago

Congrats! So happy for you. (being polite an not saying how I really feel - hint, mostly sick with jealouy and other emotions I'd rather not mention) again, congrats

    #46 11 years ago

Nice !!! and what he said

    #47 11 years ago

Wow Jon, That's amazing! When will you open up the collection for nearby pinsiders to play??

    #48 11 years ago

One question I would like to have answered... How slow did you drive home?

    #49 11 years ago

it's hard to tell if it was a score or not, since we don't know how much you landed it for. Reasonable in todays market could still be insane. I had my whole collection up for sale for $101k Reasonable? In todays market it's about right. Don't know if it would be considered a score.

    #50 11 years ago

    I scored.. thanks CaptainNeo.
