Need some help with upgrading my LOTR... I need help finding the three roms for my "LE"... I need that motor shaking...

I only see 10.0, don't I need the 10.02 n order to get my shaker to work on a LOTR?

I found the GAL and loaded the firmware. How do I know if the shaker will work before I buy a shaker kit?
I didn't see any shaker settings in the portal menus like I do in my Tron. Was this normal in the LE version back then?

Yes it was normal. That is why it isn't as effective/nuanced like the TRON coded shaker. The LE's were just pre-wired for plug and play shaker installation, as well as the 10.02 roms installed.
But still, it is a great addition! Also the colored wires for the shaker were mismatched on the LE as well. (2 pin, located at the back of the cabinet. Brown with blue stripe from shaker connects to blue with yellow stripe wire in cabinet.) It is okay to connect them together...

I thought that you couldn't just use the LE code and add a shaker. Am I wrong??? Is that all there is to it? I was under the impression that a lot of other things had to be done to get it to work.

Thanks for all the info. Any FAQs or documents on wiring the shaker to a non-LE machine that someone here has used and can verify success with it?

I thought Abbe just installed one on a non LE??? (John for ROM's and Pinbits for PAL/or possible shaker wiring sans board.)
You can also PM tatman if you need more help. (I seem to remember him knowing more about it the last time this thread came up... )
