sorry to hear about your basement. your bowling lane was nice!
Quoted from Manhattan:Yup, first tyke to play my machine hung on the rod and bent it. This should be the first instruction to any little tykes before they play.
Hope they didn't bend any, I mean they weren't hanging on, but more pulling out the rod and not shooting the ball.
Quoted from rai:Hope they didn't bend any, I mean they weren't hanging on, but more pulling out the rod and not shooting the ball.
Yup... I have to turn the rod to get good contact on the ball. Or usually its just easier to slam it with your palm. New assembly comes tomorrow. No worries. Those are pretty cheap parts. Even with minor mods such as the colored spring and knob.

Very nice!! You are in the LED fan club I see.
Quoted from dothedoo:Dude if I had all those games I would no longer be married.
I am quite fortunate to have a spouse that enjoys and supports the hobby. Honestly, I spend much of my time fixing and restoring while family and friends play. Works out for everyone.
Quoted from Max_Badazz:Here's a disaster picture of my gameroom from this past week......had some water issues this winter and I found out why (never had a drop before). You can see RCT on the right (2nd pic) and the Rush 2049's in the background (also 2nd pic). Thats the bowling alley with all the stuff on it

10 great game there.
Quoted from Speeddemon:Well mine doesn't look as nice as some but I have been spending on machines not so much the atmosphere.
No funny comments on the light... I know already.pinballx4lit.jpg 319 KB
VERY nice older games, they look mint.

Looks truly wonderful to me! Only thing wrong is that I'm not there playin' um!
Quoted from Speeddemon:Well mine doesn't look as nice as some
That's a great pic.4 machines into that space with 9 foot high ceilings. That Bally era is what attracted me to pinball.Wish i still had my Harlem.
Quoted from dothedoo:Those are huge gaps between your games. You'll be shoring those up in no time.
Only for the right pin . I told my wife 3 pins was it; they aren't leaking out into the rest of the house, and anymore than 3 seriously tries both my patience and my sanity. Now, if I could snag a TZ or MetPro at around $3500, I'll make a 4th one fit.
Seeing as to how that won't happen though, I think I'm safe .
Quoted from jathomp22:Mine has changed a lot over the last couple years. It's getting closer to being much more stable. If I can just figure out how to get an ACDC Premium in there I will be set.

Easy, take the two on the right, turn them 90 degrees then put the new one next to those two.

how much space is there to the left of TZ ?
Quoted from Riffbear:Just wow… Can only dream of ever owning that many!!
How do you take the glass off with the pins being so close in facing one another?
best collection I've ever seen..
Thanks for the kind words. Believe it or not, only a few machines require special arrangements to get the glass off.
Quoted from ledge:how much space is there to the left of TZ ?
The TV is about a foot from the TZ on the left and the XMEN has a computer desk in front of it now since we decided to move it downstairs to keep a better eye on the kids when they are using it. The desk is almost too close since I've kicked it pretty hard when trying save from draining. I could always move the computer back upstairs......but even then I would have to clear the hurdle of explaining how a 6th machine showed up. My SM showed up when I was still working on the Funhouse and I had to store it under the stairs until I took down the rotisserie.
Nothing new in my gameroom , but i like it.
I just want to share a last update. I installed some backglasses on the wall.
I hesitated to group the machine by serie (system1, system80, stern 80's ) , and finally i have mixed the generation together . Some machines don't work yet (especially Spirit and Big Game ) or are not installed (Stargazer) .
We'll do

Your place is lookin REAL fine. I like your SW Light Sabers lighting up that great ceiling and the bg's look real on the walls. You've got a great place to play.
Updated the lineuo and room a bit. Smaller collection than most, but pretty fun stuff so far. Just finished a video pin thata in the workshop and will come in soon

Well let's see some pics.

Excuses excuses.
Here's the model of the light saber . Really cheap (14,90 Euros)
Sure you can find that in US.

Thanks for your comment
Quoted from TaTa:Great line up! I see you used purple lighting in all your pins. Nice touch.
Thanks! I don't think MEtallica has purple lighting in it actually, maybe a tiny tiny bit. Hmm Ill have to go look!
Quoted from TomT:Sorry for the upside down pics if someone can clue me in on how to fix them I will!
were they taken on an iphone?
I think you can rotate them individually.
Quoted from TomT:Yeah they were but they were right side up on the phone and on my computer
phone knows to rotate them automatically as well as certain software... but in reality they are still upside down photos Gotta rotate them and save them again in a image editing program
Quoted from TomT:Latest pics of the Dive Bar Arcade
Wow! Really like your setup there. Plenty of room and variety of pins and non-pins... NICE!
Quoted from flynnibus:phone knows to rotate them automatically as well as certain software... but in reality they are still upside down photos Gotta rotate them and save them again in a image editing program
How about taking the pic. upside down. Then it would be rite side up when you post.

Quoted from dendoc:took the advise and installed my entrance door today. Looks great with the stones (real ones at that).

That looks so cool, like your walking into a secret lab somewhere. How many people have been faked out and reached for the overlay door handle.
Now THAT'S how I want my gameroom to look. Very nice. Nice collection too. Hopefully by winter I will have my bigger house.
Quoted from dendoc:took the advise and installed my entrance door today. Looks great with the stones (real ones at that).
Nice! Are the stones a permanent thing? Because if they're keepers I would personally consider painting the white trim inside them a matching grey. Would really change the look for the better IMHO, make it feel integrated. Door looks great, would also be improved by that. Just a thought!
Quoted from Aurich:painting the white trim inside them a matching grey.
totally agree.
