I just picked up a decent fully working pinbot today. Good price, anyone else owned one? If so any suggestions or information on common problems with this machine. So far everything seems good, plays great except for the rubbers, fix them tomorrow. Any info would be appreciated. THANX

Great game! I love the sound bytes in this game. Seems like plenty of people have it in their collection (http://pinside.com/pinball/archive/pinbot/owners) but they're just not on the forums I guess...

Awesome! My uncle had a HUO Pinbot that my aunt gave away to a family friend when he died of cancer. I loved that machine, and when a Jackbot came up locally I grabbed it. Man, the wave of nostalgia when I got it home almost knocked me over. I've been tearing it down to the bare playfield and restoring it. It was a pain in the butt to find replacement plastics. I do know that the Pinbot will be getting a small run of new plastics soon, so if you need plastics a small amount should be available soon.

Jackbot has the exact same playfield layout as Pinbot, but it has updated art and rules...that's why I mentioned that one.

Thanks for the info. All the plastics on my machine are mint, but who knows how long that will last. Ive been playing it non stop since I got it. The only things I've noticed wrong (so far), is that it is missing/broken bumper next to the entrance of the left ball eye lock. Also the sun on the playfield, and backbox topper kept blowing bulbs on the old owner. relay problem? Or short? Nope... wrong bulbs! supposed to be flashers. Works great now. Not bad for $600.

I found the missing bumper post today, while vacuuming out the very back of the cabinet. I have seen pics of coloured rule sheets and scorecards online, but can't seem to find them anywhere. I have the plain white ones. Any help on finding them would be awesome. THANKS.
