Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up. I crushed through 3 IC chips in about 5 minutes. They fell right out of the board. Normally I would be clipping away at the pins with flush cutters. Just make sure you use the metal pusher after each use...keeps the suction at maximum.
Great deal on a very good product. Makes life so much easier and quicker when desoldering needs to be done. Thanks for the deal much appreciated! I had one already but got this one for a friend that wanted something to make it easy and this definitely does that.
This is one of the best product I've ever bought. I delayed forever because it is a little costly, but so worth the investment. I can desolder 18 pin ICs in less than a minute without damaging through-holes, that's priceless.

Received my 808 from B&D today. This is one of those tools that seems like magic. After years of futzing with wicks, bulbs, and plungers, I wish I'd bought this thing a long time ago. I just stripped every IC off a board in a few minutes without them even getting warm. Not a single bent pin, either.
You can't beat this price, either. Thanks B&D!
