I would be on this, except my room, and storage are full.

Link isn't working

#5 10 years ago

says folder is empty

#6 10 years ago

What's the lexan playfield cover?

Link works fine for me, btw

#7 10 years ago

Working now

My guess is this...they work well...have one on my Shadow

Your guess is correct and it is removable. No glue just sits on top of the playfield.

Kind of like mylar, but not adhesive backed, just sits on top of the playfield. You can see it in the photos if you look carefully around the slings.

#11 10 years ago

It is much thicker than mylar...and as mentioned, just sits on top of the playfield

1 week later
#12 10 years ago

Just sits on top of the playfield and is slightly thicker.

#13 10 years ago

I had one of these on a rocky I had - it does come right up and does no damage to the playfield - if anybody has any concerns - thanks ed

#14 10 years ago

damn, that is a good idea. playfield protectors.

#15 10 years ago

Lowered price to $3300

#16 10 years ago

Does the lexan just sit on top of the playfield?

Scroll up 3, 4, 5 and 6 post up. It's been answered in each of those post but yes, it just sits on the top

I understand that but the question still remains; does the lexan just sit on top of the playfield?

Funhouse is a game I will eventually get around to picking up.

That's what it says

So you're saying the lexan just sits on top of the playfield?

Asked and answered. People it's a for sale thread. If you can't read what's clearly written move along....

#22 10 years ago

I would have been interested if the lexan sat on the playfield, but.....

#23 10 years ago

YES, It is a sheet of Lexan( Like a acrylic clear plastic) that is cut via a C&C machine that fits the layout of the Funhouse playfield. I can remove it for those that need it before pickup if this is a concern.

Any other concerns or questions?

If I'm following correctly, the lexan sits under the playfield, yes?

that's how i am reading it....bump for a great game with a sheet of Lexan on, under or around the playfield

Sorry, I'm looking for one with a Lexan-infused playfield.

It sits under the legs.

#28 10 years ago

I think you're supposed to sit under the lexan while playing the game.

Shocked at the lack of price comments here. Nice strategy, a bit of distracting swerve with the protector!

Okay. Now I am COMPLETELY lost.

Nevermind my previous post. Now I get it...

You sit on the lexan while playing from underneath the game.

Jesus, and I opened this thread thinking there might be some discussion about the topic, but instead all I find is a FS thread getting crapped all over.

#32 10 years ago

i always wrap myself in lexan before playing pinball now, thanks to this thread. highly recommended, glws!

Oh lighten up, Grumpy McGrumperson.

This thread is hardly getting "crapped all over", and the seller is getting a ton of lighthearted bumps.

.

But just for you...

"GLWTS!"

"Wish you were closer!"

this is far from getting crapped all over. go read rgp if you want to read crap. or the other defense to discussions on "For Sale" threads is the OP could have just put a post in the Market to avoid all discussion.

#35 10 years ago

No crap here. Only sheets of endless Lexan.

#36 10 years ago

Is that bullet proof lexan? I had heard lexan was bullet proof.

#37 10 years ago

Lol at this thread. Glws

#38 10 years ago

What IS Lexan? Is it like luan? How does it affect the feet? Prevent rusting? Or improve ball flow? Increase flipper strength?

Is the seller willing to remove the playfield and just sell the Lexan at a small additional price for his trouble?

Yes. Not many pics of this on the interweb.

Great game and price!

#46 10 years ago

I guess I don't understand what putting Lexan over the glass will do. I wish my Shrek had it because there would be enough bumps to sell it by now.

Is that lexan HUO?

#49 10 years ago

Can it double as a contraceptive?
