Troubleshooting Playfield switches and I noticed almost all my switches have Cap's on them and only a few are actually noted on the switch matrix. Many of the cap's are actually cut on one side and although the work is done well it's apparent some tinkering has been done.
Question is when should I or should I not use the cap's. I'm going to start trouble-shooting the the switch matrix and thought I would replace as necessary to the schematic, but I don't see most of these cap's on the print.
I have many of the switches around the spinning table not working at all, I have a stuck Mushroom switch (self test) which is physically open, and a bumper that's hyper sensitive.
All my voltage TP's are within spec. And the machine otherwise lights and plays(solenoids) fine.
I placed an "Ultimate MPU" board from another machine and get the same switch errors, so I'm assuming I can rule out the MPU board.
On top of all that the Cheap Squeak blows a fuse if it's plugged in. I re-capped all but the 4700uf and same problem.
