I like it! But, I'm a fighter jet kind of guy. I like F-14, but wish it had been F-18...

Kmart $3.59 ea.
The mounting took a little to figure out. The left side one I had seen someone had put one there before. I found a scrap piece of spring steel (That's what I call it, it might even be aluminum. It basically stays where you put it when you bend it) in my junk box that was around 1/4 in. wide. I drilled a small hole in the center of the body under the fuselage and cut the landing gear off that plane. Attached the metal to the bottom of the body with a screw and lockwasher, then attached the other side of the metal that sticks out from the rear of the plane around to the existing screw on top of the playfield post.
The right one is basically mounted in much the same way with a couple little differences. You will need to remove the clear ball guard plastic from the right side of the playfield. There is a metal tab bent at 45 degrees on this plastic that a triangular piece of plastic is attached to. Drill a small hole in the metal tab, not the plastic. When I first tried to mount it like the other one the plane was a little tilted and wouldn't fit because the wing would come up above the level of where the playfield glass. The screw on this one actually comes into the fuselage at an angle. Test fit everything and don't forget to check clearance of the tail from the glass so that you don't scratch your glass or damage the aircraft.
Real F-14 is 63'. Model is 5", so the scale is approx 1:151
Folks that have seen them in person have suggested they need some kind of lighting. Anything, LEDs afterburners, spotlights, headlights, something. I'll have to think about this.

Then you want an RFM. F-18s all over the cabinet and the playfield art...
