I recently got involved with 2 bars in nyc that have pinball machines.One bar has 7 pins the other 4.I love pinball and want to find ways to get more people in the bars utilizing pinball.Any thoughts??

This is truly the best way. Start up a league yourself. Clear rules, time frames and awards/trophies after the season. Make sure the pins are functioning and in good repair. Don't try to showboat a bunch of junk.

I don't think 4 is enough pins to make someone travel to play. 7, maybe if I am in the area, I would stop by. 10-20, is worth a special trip.

Most places I've been if there is 4 pins you will be lucky if one works, so I would say keep them clean and in working order so anyone that plays them will come back!

Most bars I know of are lucky to have space for one pin, maybe two...unless you're talking a barcade, of course!

How about everyone who enters is able to play one ball. If they get over a certain score they get a special pinball drink special. Maybe $2.50 draft beers etc.
