well lets see...my hobby is messing with computers usually in the repair area not as much in the internet area...ok so i put together a jamma machine with a 60 game board out of an old centepide upright and that went pretty good so i figured hey ill buy a pinball machine and fix it just like i did the arcade...but boy was i wrong...so i found a broken williams sorcerer for $250 and i bought it...well i sent in the pcb in for repairs to the coin op cauldron and i just got it back today...i installed it and unfortunately it still wont play...everything works, lights are flashing sound is good, did a reset with the buttons by the quarter slots still no play...shows credits when you insert a quarter but it wont start the game...ran the tests and flippers work it spits out the ball while running the tests...did a reset inside on the board and it reads zero...i really am lost now...i need profesional help to get this machine going...hopefully someone will help me out...my brother told me to stay away from pinball machines and jukeboxes because they have way too many parts that could go bad...i hope he wrong...hopefully i can get it going with help from you guys the pro's...well thats my story...

Come to the forums and we have plenty of people who could help you. It sounds like something simple related to the ball trough.

do a google search for 'pinball repair ' and you will come across the guides that will help immensely and also as above by Maldoror start a thread in the forum sec. those that see it will help.
