I'm fairly young to be in the pinball hobby (mid 20's).  But I've been fascinated with the subject for many years.   When I couldn't put some quarters in at the local arcade, I spent many hours playing numerous video renditions, sonic spinball, even Galactic Pinbal for the iill fated Virtual Boy. I started collecting arcade cabinets about 6 years ago.  Had a bunch of classics Tempest, Centipede, Outrun etc.. as well as modern 90's stuff like Neo Geo, Capcom CPS2 etc...  Sold all my classic cabs about 2 years ago in favor of the japanese style "candy" cabs.  Pinball has always seemed out of reach due to the high $$ involved.

My first pinball was an oddity, Mario Brothers Mushroom World.  Turned out to be more of a novelty item due to the rarity.  Small size limited it to 2 sets of drop targets, 1 ramp and no out lanes.

For all the years pinball has seemed out of reach I realized all the cash that was tied up in all the arcade stuff.  Selling off the cabs and games I just don't use anymore has allowed me to get some awesome tables.  And I anticipate a few more to be added to the collection in the near future.  Happy to be here.

That's awesome!! Arcades and pinballs can be ALOT cheaper then hard core gaming computers and xbox systems and stuff like that! You can get a fixer-upper pin for next to nothing in some cases. You can never be too young. I bought my first pinball with my paper route money at 15!!
