It was a cold Feburary evening. I was waiting with my girlfriend at the airport for her mom. I was tired. I see an empty arcade and I think "wow, those used to be popular." I say im going over to check out some games. Redemption, racing, air hockey, blah blah blah. In the right corner what do I see? A pinball machine. Not just any, the racecar driver on the backglass looks INSANE. Oh, because it isnt NASCAR, its NO FEAR: DANGEROUS SPORT. I put two quarters in, and the rest is history. Last week the airport here in Syracuse, NY started with a renovation, brought on by a changing of the vendor contracts. A coffee bar is going where the arcade was. All the games are gone, not moved, just gone. I decided I needed to do something for my new passion. Now, I have just purchased my first pin. Being one of those guys who cant fix anything on his own, and not wealthy, I pick up an EM in great shape. Picking up in a few days. More details to come. So glad I found a site with other pinball enthusiasts.
