Bugshooting

Ah, this weekend finally gave me some time for mayor bug-shooting operations on the Pinside! Bug shooting? Well, yeah, you know... Computer bugs. Errors in the code. Even a great site like the Pinside has some of these microscopic creatures (ahem, quite a lot of 'em to be honest).

We love feedback

You see, ever since the launch of our new site, back in May of this year, we have added a little contact button in the header of each page. We didn't expect to get much people to actually use it, but boy, we were wrong. Quite a lot of you take the time and trouble to report a bug to us. Which (although it being bad news to receive a bug) we really, really appreciate. How else can we make the site stay working properly? So please keep the bug reports coming in using the contact form!

IEEEEE

One of the mayor problems is to support one particular browser made by one particular giant software company with a small name. Yep, I'm talking about IE6. If you would only know how much time it costs us to properly support this outdated piece of crap browser.

But, a quick look at our visitor statistics shows that not less than 25% of all our visitors (slowly going down one percent each month) still use IE6 to come to the Pinside. And reasons being what they are, we can't keep these users in the dark.

And so this weekend I have done my very best to get the site to work better under Internet Explorer 6 (and to some extend, version 7 as well).

We hope you IE users upgrade to Mozilla Firefox soon enjoy our bug fixes and have an even better time at the Pinside!
