Way back when

I use to play this game all the time 33 years ago at the arcade when it first came out. Quite a challange, sunk many tokens many years ago. It's rating is still quite high, I'm suprised it's higher than my NIB Transformer Combo LE

I played xenon back then as well, along with F2K,EBD, FP, BK, BH,HH,MR.&Mrs.Pacman, Hyperball. The arcades were a nice escape from reality for me back then. It's part of my passion for pinball today I suppose.
Xenon was different, first pin with female voice, and I think Bally's first game with a ramp. The chasing lamps around the 2 piece backglass is one of my favorite things about it. I learned from a former Bally employee that the 4 mirrors on the backglass are actually cheap peel and stick mirrors bought from an auto parts supplier that are used for truck mirrors. It makes sense when you look at them. These were also given away at pin shows as promo items except it has an additional Xenon sticker on in, I have one stashed away. I also learned that the prototype Xe playfield had a plastic ramp. Do you know about the hidden red posts on Greg Kmiec's games?
