Here's my story: I've been collecting pinball machines for about 3 years now, and I don't have a large house. So, I've been restricted to having only one machine...and it sits in the dinning room, lol!

Having a one pinball household, and a very low attention span, has meant that the machines don’t last very long here. I've had PB, JM, TZ, JD, Diner, BSD, Shadow, HS, and a few others in the coveted spot, but none have had the staying power required to be permanent residents.

Then I picked up a WCS94. Wow, what a great game! Actually, it’s the perfect pinball machine. Its fast, fun, goofy, 2 ramps, 3 & 5 ball multiball, and tons of toys/features. The toys/features are the things that really make this game awesome. It’s got rollovers, a moving target, a spinner, 2 magnets, a player activated kick-out hole, a spinning ball, and a skill shot that takes some skill. It's like a classic pinball machine with a DMD, speed, and some objective/story.

Rules and routine: there's not many with WCS94...and that’s great! My last machine was a TZ, and boy o boy did I ever get sick of the rules and routines. Hit the piano, hit the slot machine, wait a while, rinse and repeat...blah! And it was over $3000 for that?!?! After a month I was truly losing my will to flip. So, I sold TZ, bought a WCS94 on a whim, and never looked back. This game is just plain pinball fun. Flip flip flip, fun fun fun. I'm actually PLAYING pinball with this game, and not worrying about a specific shot or order of shots. Run some ramps, ride the orbit, get sidetracked by that crazy spinning ball, and score some goals on the "amazing" goalie. What a blast!

The look? U G L Y, and it aint got no alibi....its ugly. Gawd, pastels pastels pastels! But whatever! It’s from the 90's, it was geared toward Europeans, and was done by John Popadiuk. Okay…that’s its alibi, and its stickin’ to it. I'm actually glad it’s so ugly...otherwise it would be more expensive, and may even be an A list game. Actually, the ugly is kind of growing on me. It makes me feel like I'm in Miami...Here’s some advice when actually visiting Miami: don’t trust a guy named "Naughty Dread" with your money…he won't come back, and he steals lighters...true story.

So, on that note...if you get a chance to buy a WCS94, do it! There are always tons around for sale, they are cheap ($1300-$1500), and you won't regret your choice...it’s also family fun, great for kids, old people, pinheads, and non-pinballers. Just try to buy a shopped one if you have the choice between two. It’s a bit of a pain to take apart...but I did it as my first ever “full shop job” and it worked out ok. I also had a few extra screws left over, but whatever....GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!!!

That's awesome! I enjoy the simpler things in life as well. Having a machine with a busy playfield and a complicated ruleset that won't even fit on the rule card on the apron is not for me either. I have always liked WCS and I am on the look out for one. I have an early 90's Fishtales and I love the hip 'red neck' fishing music and sounds it makes and its fairly simple. Recently coming back from holidays in the UK and watching their "football" over there even makes me more excited about this game. GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! for sure!

We had that machine at the local pub many years ago and I thought it was real good also.
