Who Dunnit used to be at my local Super Arcade/Waterpark before they gt rid of their awesome pin lineup, and somehow when I started buying pins it was one of the first that came to me... and then came BACK to me after I traded it off.
Fun game, great theme. Great to look at, with nice art and great colors, but the cab is a bit dull, just a giant logo. Sound is a high point here, great music and some FANTASTIC quotes from the detective ("What are you doing in the sewer, Nick?" "I like the sewer!") and overall super good audio. The playfield design is different, and that's cool... it has hidden shots and nooks and crannies, not a game for you if you're a shooter (the main ramp is like 6 inches wide) or need constant flow (it stops the ball alot) but more of a thinking mans pin. The rules, alas... it could have been SO good, but the cases are pretty easy to solve, and while the case and capture is thrilling, there is NO reward for finishing all of the cases. It's not a tough game, so you can play it for awhile and depending on your luck you'll either get a high score, or a rediculous score... great for beginners or people who just like something different!
Who Dunnit is the kind of game that someday I want to own a SUPER NICE example of, just because, despite the fact that I just own it to death every time I play it, I like it alot. But there's just too many games I haven't played waiting for me to waste space on a game that I've played out!
