Noteworthy features

  • The right ramp acts as a divider, that can be set down as an actual ramp or up to reveal a saucer under it.
  • Three rotating disks in middle playfield.
  • A sound overlay board was used to intercept soundboard calls to be translated into solenoid drives.

Trivia

  • A small amount of Whirlwind machines had a Diamond Plated playfield (See the photo section).
  • In May of 2023, Pedretti Gaming released a Re-theme kit called Whirlwind: Total Chaos. This new game kit includes brand-new rules, art, music & animation in a fresh new artstyle. You can still play the original Whirlwind by choosing it on the selection menu when booting up the machine.
