Fan on backbox blows pretty strong wind to player during various modes, including multiball.
This machine has no dot matrix display thus it has no videmode.
A small amount of Whirlwind machines had a Diamond Plated playfield (See the photo section). Another “very rare” feature of this pin is the backglass. Williams originally produced backglass artwork for Whirlwind that had the little boy wearing a Cubs baseball cap, but they did it without permission. The Cubs found out, and the cap was quickly changed to a "W" before games were shipped, however a very small number of backglasses with this feature made there way out of the Williams factory. 3-Way combo shot is a pretty cool shot ! Never seen such a shot.
