Backbox & Videomode

Silver Ball (about the size of a bowling ball) on top of backbox

Steer Captain Walkers plane top to bottom with the flipper buttons. Bomb will automatically be dropped if you fly over buildings, enemy planes will be shot at if you fly towards them.

Noteworthy features

  • In the "Tommy Scoring" mode, a blinder moves over the flippers obstructing your view. You will have to play 'blind as Tommy'.

Trivia

  • 10 prototypes were made before production began for promotional use in conjunction with the off-Broadway productions. The game made it's debut at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas in October of 1993, one of these games fell off the truck and was destroyed. Another was used in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1993, this special machine was rigged for "autoplay" and had no backbox, electronics were cabinet-mounted.
