  • This pin is NOT based on Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical stage production of The Phantom of the Opera, but more or less on the French novel by Gaston Leroux, first published in 1910.
  • Paul Faris, who designed the artwork on this pin, has stated that his daughter was his model for the Christine Dae character on the backglass.
