Very intense, fast and fun game. When you get this game flowing it delivers an adrenaline rush. Excellent flow with great combo shots between the ramps, orbits and the spinner orbit. This is the fastest flowing machine I have ever played. On repeating orbit you can get it so fast you literally have to time shots without even seeing the ball. The hand and cybermatrix is a cool toy that creates a memory aspect to the game; remember where the extra ball and other rewards are so you can get them with when locking a ball. There are number of different modes and multiballs and the final PowerDown Mode is a great Wizard mode; Sectors in the machine are shutting down and you try to keep powering them up by shooting at them. Not the best looking artwork on the cabinet or translite but the play field is nice. Overall a lot of fun to play.

Holy underrated pin Batman! I lucked out and own a very nice example of this pin. Glove working great. Cabinet in fantastic shape with little to no fade.
Game plays fast and fun!
I presume this game gets overlooked due to theme and a glove that usually doesn't work. However, play a solid JM and you'll be pleasantly surprised. It'll be interesting to see how long she lasts in my collection, as I turn over the collection quite a bit. But, as it sits right now, I am very much enjoying this pin.

I Bought this game a couple months ago. it is top 5 in my book. I have played all the top 25 machines and this is certainly as good as all of them.
the speed, sound, lights (leds), and flow of this game creates a rhythm which is unmatched in any game. the ramps are super close to the flippers, creating velocity in the game which is uncommonly snappy, forcing the player to react much quicker. people complain about the glove feature, but it really is a much needed respite from the ferocity of the game itself, while you place balls for multiball later. it is incredibly well thought out.
the artwork is awesome and backglass is very cool, and not obnoxious or too bright or flashing. the sound effects are super cool with a sci-fi feel and deeper darker melodies which increase the urgency feel of the player.
this machine is unforgiving too, so it is an expert player machine. the beginner will not survive, IMO.
Update after playing about 60 games this week. Honestly this game is as good as any in my collection. I just bought Metallica and Johnny is as good as Metallica which would shock most people. It's just so addictive
I'm super grateful that I found this machine because it is a must have for any serious pinball addict. This game will improve your skills instantly as it is demanding and ultra challenging. I can't stop playing this game. Totally hooked. Buy one now if I can find it for sale !!!!

Fastest game I own (except for when it goes to the glove, but I still like that feature). Quick games, too. It's a tough one, but super fun. This game feels different than others, due to how close the ramps are to the flippers. I have owned it for a few months now (but haven't been able to play that much) and still can't get to the power down mode, which I think is good. I see why it's such a popular game for the money. This game would be so much more desirable if it had been a Matrix theme. I do really like it.

There is so much to do and so many shots on this game. The glove crane toy is pretty amazing, and when it releases the mutliball and all the balls come down at the same time it's epic. The flow is really nice with a few orbits and ramps that all play together nicely. This game has a really full feeling to it and is very true to the subject matter.

It's a pretty enjoyable. Precise aim is important, so this is a good game to to refine your skills.

This game is fast very good loops and orbits you can hit both ramps back to back .the game design is lot like a lot of Gomez game and probably why his designs are so popular lot of flow lots of speed .the glove is neat because it hasn't been done a hundred times and doesn't slow down gameplay any more than a video mode .in a game this fast a little slow down in pace sometimes is a nice break . Fun game . Don't be a zombie play pinball !

Fun, fast and addicting! Played Johnny for the first time and fell in love with it. It took a few games to grasp the concept, figure out the extra buttons, video mode, etc. Tough game, couldn't even get close to power down. If I had one complaint it would be the voices. I would of preferred to here Reeve and the rest of the cast.

Owned the pin before I ever watched the movie. I really enjoy the flow and it plays so fast! I hate how the million spinner with a bonus multiplier and bonus held screws up the high scores so bad. Other than that scoring is fair shots are rewarding and I love to play this game. Artwork on the cab and translite are just okay. Playfield looks nice and it's a pretty used game when I have guests over.

Very fast playing game with good flow, one of the very best ever made. The game is a joy to play. The main toy, a magnet/hand that allows to to place the ball into a tray is interesting and unique but not really my thing. The artwork is below average which is probably why this pin is relatively cheap considering the fun factor.
The excellent playfield layout greatly contributes to the flow, speed and fun factor of this game. Too bad the machine itself is kind of ugly.
