“This game is an absolute killer! Its not enough that this game has the IJ theme already. Super fun throwback gameplay to the late great 80's pins. Lots of fun drop targets, and some sweet ramps. The dot matrix animations are the best in DMD pinball (CFTBL follows closely behind). You'll laugh out loud at some of these. "You chose, poorly" animation always makes me crack up (cut to a scene of a guy screaming and being melted). Lots of video modes, and all are awesome! The tilting mini-playfield is super cool, as are the toys on the playfield! Art package is simply stunning. Tons of movie quotes and beautifully done music. The DCS sound in Mark Ritchie's game is nothing short of mind-blowing. If only his brother Steve, hadn't worked on the bar-setter STTNG. This game is very challenging for those looking for one. Only minor gripe is that it doesn't have much flow with all the drop target shooting. Funny that since 1993, it still beats out the Stern IJ that came out not too long ago.”

“I love my IJ , it is the only one i have in the living room in the youse, the rest of the pinball machines must stay in the basement :-)”

“Had a TZ and grew bored of it so traded it on an IJ. IJ was definetly a better game to play, it kept me interested and wanting more. But after awhile it just got so frustrating to get the ball where you wanted it to go. 80% of the time it would bounce out of the mode shot or hit one of the many posts on the PF and go no where. Would i get another one..... no i prefer to play my Demo man.”

“This is the game that I chased all over metro detriot to play for years in the late 90's. The best game every made head and shoulders above all other games.”

“This is a great pinball machine with it`s many challenges and modes for the serious pinball player. Indiana Jones deserves it`s place in the top five through playability and excellent playfield, graphics and theme. Indiana Jones has become one of my favourites.”

“Have heard a lot about IJ but never had a chance to play until I purchased one. Boy I now could really understand what all the talk was about. Never say a 5 multi-ball before and the rule set was outstanding as far as I was concerned. My wife loved TOM and when she played IJ should could not stop. Have to say this pin should be up a bit higher on the rating list. Was a good investment and I am sure the rest of the family will enjoy many hours in front of it.”

“I have played a few of these machines, and every time I do it renews my desire to buy one. I am a fan of the movies and this machine was designed correctly! Much better than PoTC. The sounds and voices are awesome, the theme is timeless, and the play is top notch. I will most likely buy one in the near future. This one will be a good addition to anyones collection and will last you for years of fun.”

It's a Great Pinball machine of the 90' like The Twilight Zone!
Fifteen years later, I still want to play there...
See you later Doctor Jones…”

“They did an excellent job incorporating the Indy theme with an exciting well rounded pinball machine. The sound is good and fits the play very well. You got planes, 3D playfield, fun multi-ball. It is a classic no doubt.”

“A great looking machine with some fantastic toys.
The playfield is sweet although the colors would not be my 1st choice. Good fun to play and decent rules means 'Indiana Jones' gets the thumbs. Very popular but not my favourite Williams production.”
Andydreads rated this machine on August 19, 2009 with a score of 9.708 and said:
“This pin should be higher up the list, this is pinball at it's best, good flow, exciting game with excellent theme and plenty to aim for (let's face it, pinball does not blend well with some of the themes thrust upon it) Indiana Jones suits pinball, I can't rate this machine enough, shame about the fading cabinet art but what the hell (keep it in your dungeon) 10/10”

“Love the theme, not so much the game. I would own just because my kids and I love the movies. Playfield looks awesome, just lacks something in play.”

“Playfield Doesn't Seem To Have The Right "Pop" Or "Liveliness" For A Machine Of This Era & Manufacturer. Just Feels Dead Or "Un-Intutive" In Play.”
jar155 rated this machine on July 22, 2009 with a score of 8.540 and said:
“This is a great game, with my only complaint being that the game has some really, really, long ball times. Even on the very first time I played the game, my ball times were each over 5 minutes. There's tons to do though, so you'll need those long times to see all that the game has to offer.
This one is definitely a keeper. There's so much to do, so much to see, so much to hear, and so many modes to get into.”
