"Give me your money!"

Black Knight 2000 is a game that I first read about in EGM magazine way back in '88/'89... for a pinball to get a page in EGM it must have been a big deal... and it was! Steve Ritchie was revisting one of pinballs most famous and revered games, Black Knight, and making a modern take on the game that cemented his place as a pinball legend, after establishing himself as one of course, with Flash and Firepower. BK2K is stunning to look at, brutally fast and had, in my opinion, one of the most amazing soundtracks I'd ever heard in a game to that moment, and it stands up well in a nostalgic sort of way to this day. The first time I saw one, it told me many things. It told me that I had power and might, and to get ready for battle. But, one thing it told me that I just had to do... was to GIVE IT MY MONEY! And I did! Now I own a BK2K and I'm fixing it up... so while the game is now set for Free Play, I'm still GIVING IT MY MONEY! How litle things change!
