I remember playing this pin right after release and just being blown away. I love the movies and just adored this pin. Well, years later I've had one for awhile and I wonder... what the heck was I thinking? Don't get me wrong, BTTF is a cool enough game, very simple in retrospect, and it represents it's movies fairly well, but it just doesn't have that long term appeal for me that the games like High Speed and Pin Bot do. Its got great sound and for the most part, great art, marred slightly by the fact that Michael J. Fox didn't want his likeness used so instead of just using Doc they tried to use another face... bad move. Finally, the gameplay is pretty simple, with 3 drops and one ramp with 2 enterances to shoot for. The Multiball ("Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads!") is exciting and the music is good. I think as a game, it's slightly overpriced thanks to it's popular cult classic movie tie in, but in the end, it's just a straightforward flip fest and there are better out there.
